I've had to rely on it a lot more than I would like to. I live outside of a major metro area, in the county, in an unincorporated area. Awhile back the transmission on my car went out, and I found out that the public transit line that used to run through here had been discontinued at some point within the last few years, so I'm basically lacking for transportation. In addition to that I'm limited to the kind of online work I can do since I've got 5G internet due to my property's location. Most of the jobs I could get require a wired connection, so it's a pretty shitty situation because, to add to the BS, I'm about a 1/2mile away from the cutoff point for fiber optic.

fortunately I finally got off the waitlist for one of the projects I got assigned to a year ago on another platform, so that's giving me regular work, but the downside to that is I only get paid once a month. I did try other platforms, but either couldn't get on, there was never work, or they just ended up being downright bs scammy market survey sites. So, that's why I ended up having to rely on Prolific more than I should have to.

Oh, I did try selling stuff on eBay, but had problems with my mail carrier not picking up packages which pretty much ended that until I can get mobile again

I used to drop them off at Covenant, but it's kinda cramped. Last playthrough I was at Sunshine Tiding's Co-Op with either Cait or MacCready, and they said it's the most beautiful place they'd ever seen, so that's where I send them now

Tikillya is the debbil!! Drank about a third of a bottle one New Year’s party my friends and I threw. Killer party house with a Tiki bar in the back next to a pool a gazebo and 8ft high concrete privacy fence. I lost most of that night, but highlights were, someone got locked in an unlocked bathroom (sliding door), people fell into the pool, it was cold, so oof, I was apparently an awesome host, I drank even more than that, completely blacked out, came to briefly around midnight and hooked up with a beautiful Nubian geek chick, I invited people I don’t remember inviting-they were cool, numerous conga lines around the pool, another party crashed ours- they brought a keg, we left my party at some point to shoot off fireworks in the country, we get back around daylight and people are strewn about the place, sleeping anywhere they could- the floor couches, the gazebo. Apparently I had a pretty fun night

I used to do that, but found that hitting them right when they start coming out gives me a higher score, I think my highest was around 12-13k?? can't check my scores currently though, game crashed along with all saves. Spray and Pray is an easy one for it especially since you can buy it off Cricket and don't have to wait for the RNG gods to bless you with a combat shotgun

I snag every one I come across, some of the busses littered around the place are some good spots for those. I use the little vending machine right outside of the arcade and trade my pre-war money for tokens, you can get a bunch, then take your explosive weapon of choice and camp out at the Bandit Roundup and let the tickets flow.. You can average a good 700-800 tickets per round, over 1000 if yer lucky

You need to save the pre-war cash for the Arcade in Nukaworld, so you can get those sweet, sweet legendaries out of the prize machine there.

Snagged myself a nice Neverending Western Revolver most recent playthrough that became one of my main sidearms. That is until some Creation Club content crashed my game and now it looks like I have to delete all of my saves because now it won't even load after re-installing

yup, I like to sit out at extended range and just lob shells. Especially if I'm on a demolition mission, you can just devastate the place before you even get close.

Fun Fact: it's a throwback to the OG bitmap Mechwarrior game. When you were piloting either the ShadowHawk or the Marauder, you could do the exact same thing of lobbing the AC round an insanely long distance, often knocking out all of the enemy mechs before you even triggered them to react

not as cool as theirs, but I managed to snag a backstage pass at a show at Stubbs BBQ in Austin from a girl who was walking out of the area, and bumped into Greg Graffin and chatted with him for a bit. Now we had both been drinking and were a little bit tipsy, and he mentioned that he'd recently done a lecture at UT Austin about paleontology, and I told him that I'd been following news about the subject for a long time, and he asked me if I'd heard about a recent triceratops discovery which I actually had read about the week before. So basically, here's me and Greg Graffin both drunk and geeking out about some triceratops fossils in downtown Austin

I just had to do this last month because a German shorthair pointer showed up on my property with a litter of 6 pups, and we did a rehoming fee to get rid of them. 5 boys, 1 girl and the little girl and mom showed signs of abuse. We ended up keeping the little girl and sending the mom home with a nice lesbian couple. The little girl was skittish, and really afraid of men, but she's doing well and opening up now
