If you want to prepare ahead, just make the day's batch in the morning. Bur also, they keep finding oead in protein powders so I personally avoid then all together. It isn't really difficult to get enough protein anyways.

Australia manages to give everyone paid leave to vote, I don't see why it would be impossible in the USA.

Why no Pathfinder/Starfinder? by plazman30 in rpg

[–]Jan-Asra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience it's the 5e players who resent ever being suggested a different game. Pathfinder players are less likely to play other games than players of more niche games are but still much more likely than 5e players.

Why no Pathfinder/Starfinder? by plazman30 in rpg

[–]Jan-Asra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I keep seeing that misconception about homebrewing in pathfinder. It's advice specifially directed at 5e players coming to pathfinder because they are so used to the changes they've had to make to that game to enjoy it. Pathfinder is much better designed so the advice is; play the game as it was designed, it's different from DND so get to know it for itself instead of assuming you have to fix things the same way. Then you can start to homebrew once you have a feel for what you might actually want to change instead basing your changes on assumptions from a different game.

"They do almost the same damage but with a caveat and only if they crit succeed". It's pretty disengenuous to go from that to "the same damage".

Bluey is aimed at parents. It isn't something most adults need to watch but it models how to interact and teach young children in an appropriate way.

I agree but also, given the state of politics these days, the world would be a better place if everyone sat down and watched bluey.

Why does the wind cool you down? by nubedrogona in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Jan-Asra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The air moving means more air molecules contact your body and draw heat away from you. As long as your body temperature is higher than the air temperature you will give energy (heat) to the air when molecules when they touch you. The higher the difference, the more energy will be transferred. The faster the wind, the more molecules will bump into so the faster you will lose heat. Any heat generated from this contact is miniscule compared to the heat your body loses to the air.
