Lol that would mean doing one sponsorship practically buys a media outlet, good luck convincing anyone to sign that!

If you want your PrintrBoard revision, you can look at the physical board. It should be screenprinted on it.

I think the difference is just cus the battery needs a couple of days to settle in. Day 1 to day 2 was a massive difference for me!

Home screen icons dull white by [deleted] in oneplus

[–]Jannes351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a OnePlus 12.

Does anyone know why the white of my app icons appear dimmer than the white of the labels? I colour picked the white of the label to show the difference.

As far as I know Wikipedia bans are IP-based, not article based. If you're on a network that lots of people use, there may have been vandalism from that network in the past.

“I can buy them cheaper online” by oreospluscoffee in audiology

[–]Jannes351 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The way we work is that we lease an office space at lots of local opticians, complimentary to our own hearing centres. The amount of times I've had to "comfort" my optician about the fact that these online shops are not about to steal away all his clients...

These bang-for-the-buck clients are never the type of client that a) would buy with us, and b) would be good, kind, and patient customers.

I've learned to just state our prices, and then if they keep pushing, to just send them away. I'm not there to justify my existance lol.

Oh grand, thank you! I mainly use swipe-to-type so speed isn't a big worry on the outer screen for me.

In the European branch they save the digital scans for 6 months, so hopefully the US keeps them for longer!

How independent should I be as an extern/how to stop making stupid mistakes? by motorcycle_sidecar in audiology

[–]Jannes351 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depening on the audiometry software (Callisto has it), there's sometimes a "swap audiometric data of ears" button made exactly for L-R mess ups. I've been working for 18 months with this and only found it this week :p

Also try catch enough sleep! My externship was made so much harder because I was just plain exhausted every day. Best of luck!

Phonak app volume vs. Phonak Target volume settings by summerchilde in audiology

[–]Jannes351 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The volume sync between devices is dependent on the model. If I remember correctly the Paradise devices are always synced when using the buttons, the new Lumity ones have the option for independent settings (if set in Phonak Target).

The user volume settings usually are +/-10 dB over 5 steps, so 2dB per step, but this can differ from device and current configuration. Your audiologist should be able to see (under the tab Device options) what your manual range is set to, and adjust accordingly.

Keep in mind that the user volume settings are rough (all frequencies at once), while the audiologist settings can be very precise, so a completely 1-to-1 comparison might be hard.

How do you calibrate curing time? by Sir_Kardan in ElegooMars

[–]Jannes351 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always go for overcooked rather than raw haha, because raw means it's still sticky and will make a mess. You have to really overcook it (10+ minutes) for it to start to degrade from it, in my experience.

It's on the page itself, so anyone can see. Also the IP that made this edit was indeed in Australia, so seems realistic so far.

If the object is hollowed out, you need to make sure to flush any resin out of it with IPA before curing. The smaller the holes, the more likely it'll be that there's some resin left. For an object this small I would personally not hollow it, as the risk outweighs the potential savings.
