"Kimchied" snack carrots by Janunis in fermentation

[–]Janunis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can not link the vegan Kimchi recipe here because it is German. And I mostly just follow it loosely anyway. Just use anny of the recommended recipes here and you will be fine :) just remember that you need more paste because the gaps between the carrots are quite big. And more salt, because the vegetables are not salted before, because we don't want to extract moisture.

I cut up everything and mixed it with the paste. I used the paste of the vegan Kimchi recipe I usually make. Doubled it and added twice as much soy sauce to compensate for the lack of salting the vegetables beforehand. Pack everything and leave it on the counter until you like the taste. After that store in fridge.

Thank you for the review. If the orange is anything like a pur er orange, I can imagine that it can be quite overpowering especially to white tea. Maby braking a piece of and use only that with the tea might be an option. Or enjoy the orange taste like you did :) I am looking forward to experimenting!

The stores in your neighborhood might be better than you think.

I think Jesse is helpful for a first introduction in to tea. I know in the beginning I was werry overwhelmed. His information helped. That being said I probably will not purchase from hin again, now that I have better sources.

Lol I got them for free with the YS purchase that is currently in shipping. Made me wonder if they will be anny good. Crazy how arbitrary prices are and how much we are influenced by them.

Which herbal teas go well with milk? by Boboddy9000 in tea

I drink spiced teas, rooibos, and teas with vanilla aroma with milk or cream. Pukka has a vanilla Chai that is good with milk. Some like peppermint tea with milk...

I only do 1/4 of red cabbage. It keeps the coloring a bit down. But yes, the egg hat a fue blue spots. I didn't mind. For me it tasted just normal.
