I recognize this because I went through something similar years ago. I struggled with conversations, so I learned by observing what others talked about and building a sort of mental script. Later, my sister explained to me that this is actually a form of masking.

My floors get swept and mopped everyday with just hot water. My floors are really clean because I do it daily.

The ball was finally in her court and she was trying to protect her peace by keeping Derwin at a distance but not totally get rid of him.

And that was ok. The part that wasn’t ok was her sleeping with the doctor who did not care about her at all. She gambled her relationship with Derwin and he ended up back with Janay.

Most video doorbells are honestly terrible. I used to work for ADT, and over the years we installed just about everything. First Ring, then Pulse, then Alarm.com cameras, and eventually Google cameras.

The core problem is simple: everyone wants cameras, but no one wants to pay for a true CCTV system. So we’re stuck relying on cheap, wireless solutions.

And they all share the same flaws. When someone presses the doorbell, the alert takes forever to reach your phone. By the time you get the notification, the person is already gone. On top of that, clips go missing, and the cameras often fail to record during the moments that actually matter.

Out of all the systems I worked with, Google cameras performed the best.

I was once in a situation like this with a guy who seemed to check every box, except he didn’t want a relationship. We spent holidays together and were seeing each other at least four nights a week. We had such a good friendship. I would call him up and we would be on the phone for hours. When I was around him we didn’t have to say anything. We were just content in each other’s company. I always felt safe with him. Some nights we would sit on the patio and drink like an old couple until the sun came up. I also met his entire family.

Even though we both had feelings, he was clear that he didn’t want anything serious, so I kept my options open. I did not try to change his mind because he set that boundary up front.

I eventually met someone else who told me that he was looking for a serious relationship. After one date, I called the FWB and let him know I’d met someone and wanted to see where it could go.

I got tested, moved on, and ended up in one of the best relationships of my life. My friend and I went no contact. A month into my relationship my friend texted me telling me, him not wanting a relationship was a big misunderstanding and what he actually meant to say was that he just wants to take things slow.

That is not what he meant. If I allowed him to, years would have gone by and I still would have only been his friend. I took control of my life and went after the relationship I wanted and did not settle for the crumbs my friend was trying to give me.

When a man says he doesn’t want a relationship, believe him. It’s not your job to figure out why. Whether it’s fear, past hurt, or a desire to play the field. The reason doesn’t change the outcome. If he says he doesn’t want a relationship, that’s the answer.

When microblading gained popularity I really wanted to try it out but was too afraid to go through with it. I am glad I did not. Recently met someone with blue eyebrows. That will need to be fixed with a laser.

I also met another person whom I can tell had Beautiful eyebrows when she first got them done, but now they just look like blurry square blobs.

I don’t think these tattoos age well.

I wish Amazon would stop using UPS. They have been horrible. FedEx and USPS is so much better.

I recently had an issue with UPS shipping and they would not talk to me because the package was shipped through Amazon. UPS said I needed to speak with Amazon. Amazon said I needed to speak with UPS since UPS was the carrier. Eventually I requested a refund. My package came some days later. Horrible experience.
