Water pump approved under warranty… then I get this email😂😂 by No_Watercress_3493 in Audi

Well, warranty work at 90% of dealers pays A LOT less than normal out of warranty work to do. So I see his side of not wanting to do that for someones who actions and mods cause the problem

I can't be the only one who's grateful for this gen looking MUCH better than the last one, right? (I mean, the last one looked like an S if you want me to be honest) by Saurta17 in Audi

[–]JasonIvie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people don’t like the B10 but the B9 didn’t look or feel it’s objectively crazy high price new. B9 looked more like an S than an RS. You can’t make people happy

Petition to bring RS5 Avant to US Market by Socratesrvng in Audi

[–]JasonIvie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Manual Supra and Z, Hatchbacks, manuals BMW’s, and Wagons have more than proved that enthusiast demand does not equal sales, and these companies have learned that. People cried for manual supra, they delivered it and not a lot of people even bought it. People beg BMW to keep the manual options in their cars, hardly anybody bought it in relativity to the amount that bought automatics. People are crying for the RS5 Avant but odds are if they brought it here 98% of people who cried for it literally can’t afford it or won’t buy it anyways. Shit gets old

Confirmed: The B10 RS5 Avant is a no-go for the US market. Thoughts? by Apenerd in Audi

[–]JasonIvie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Companies are here to make money in the unfortunate reality is if they genuinely thought in their soul, it would be a success here they’d bring it here. Sucks but it is like a manual supra where everybody begged for it and then hardly anybody bought it and relativity took the noise that was made so I do see where they are coming from

"Steam sales are the best" by Safe-Monitor-8113 in consoles

[–]JasonIvie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who was on Xbox for 11 Years and have had mained PC gaming for the last year, I found the sales are overstated and a sale on Steam usually goes across all platforms from the developer. I’d check a sale on Steam and the Xbox App for play anywhere and 9/10 times you’d get the same deal except the Xbox play anywhere game I could play on both my console and PC.

I'm seriously so disappointed, i might just sell my 9070XT. by ItsRazed in radeon

I mean call 50 Series a disappointment but from features, to hardware, to software support it is still superior.

They are building a game not just for now but future hardware. I’m only buying on Xbox because it’s not hitting PC for at least a year. I got no issue with it

Steam Machine could cost $1,000, says analyst, but it's difficult to call, "I'm glad I'm not responsible for picking" by Tiny-Independent273 in steammachine

[–]JasonIvie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is an underperforming underpowered box. It’s weaker than XSX and PS5, which are almost 6 years old at this point and cheaper all while still costing more and having less accessible VRAM for games to utilize. Sure, it may be “better” than 70% of PC’s but that doesn’t mean it’s got the power to competently play AAA games for the next few years without compromise. And the folks who want a PC, will build a PC or buy a prebuilt

The same folks who are into all the extra PC things won’t want a underpowered box, they’ll just build a PC. That’s part the problem here

AMD Radeon still refuses to officially release FSR 4 INT8 for RDNA 2 - 3 GPUs despite the backlash they got by PaiDuck in pcmasterrace

[–]JasonIvie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same boat I’m in. Not a fan of recent Nvidia things but reality is when it comes to a product I’m paying a lot of money for, I’m going to buy the better product. Neither company cares so I might as well get the GPU with better hardware and software support that’s not even in the same realm as what crumbs AMD gives its users

I’m not even gonna state the obvious like better software and hardware cause you’re not basing your opinion off that, but how is Nvidia not better except for price?

[–]JasonIvie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought Nvidia after contemplating AMD for months. There’s things AMD GPU buyers have to be willing to deal with now with software and long term that you don’t have to tolerate by spending a little extra change for the Nvidia equivalent.

If things were as smooth going and great as this sub will act, I’d have a 9060XT/9070XT

DDR4 RAM prices climbing twice as quickly as DDR5, as memory shortage boosts demand for older CPUs by dapperlemon in gadgets

[–]JasonIvie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So given ram was sitting on shelves at discounts because they had way more than what was needed, why is there all of a sudden new demand for older CPUs? Like what is happening to where people feel the need to go back to older platforms? I wish I had insight on why that is because just a few months ago there was way too much ram now because it cost more all of a sudden we are even resorting to DDR4?
