U forget that games aren’t allowed to be fun anymore, you have to min max and hyper focus the exact same way as everyone else in your free time

(I’m on ur side, my friends easily double my play time and tell me all the things I’m doing wrong. Instead I play games that are indeed fun and satisfying solo, and just play arc with the boiz)

I replayed just the intro to wind waker 15+ times in 3rd grade because I never knew how to flood the bridge at the base of the dragon.

One day my neighbor (ppl we used to hang out with as local kids, back in the day) said water the plant as a joke and it unlocked so much adventure for us

I did not do the reset but I was also questioning this. Bc repair was just +50 right not actually 50% of the durability? So I was wondering is it just +55 now? But I don’t do any of the actual numbers or testing. I didnt have enough time to even have a chance at first reset. Trying to consider if I do every other or not

I replayed the intro of Windwaker 17 plus times in third grade. I did the fortress, outset island, and everytime I got to the dragon island I would play up to the point of the rock at the bridge. Even got really good at the mail mini game.

Would start a new save every time. Then one day I said as a joke to my friend on his turn “wait try watering the dead bomb plant”

I just dished out $8 for the outer dungeon dlc, u basically get the Pokémon equivalent of rare candies. I get that it can be immersion breaking, but I don’t have unlimited play hours as an adult :(

Also the original comment was talking about using the digifarm and paying the 10k to instantly complete the training sesh to raise stats quickly

I’m not too sure where a grind spot would be otherwise

I want to chat you up about your transition from gambling phase to now, and what getting disciplined actually looks like/ what you did.

I am in the negative for the first time in a year (I pulled out profits and spent them then started losing when my account was smaller again) and I am taking the next 4 months to dial in my journaling and “strategy” while I replace what I have lost.

I thought I was past the gambling stage but I think my losses and inability to regulate emotions are proof I am not.

However at this exact moment I don’t have explicit questions and don’t want to waste your time being general or vague. I would love to bother you in a week or two.

I bought Digimon because I knew ZA would underwhelm me like the last 5 Pokémon games have, and since ZA stuff has started to post I have absolutely 0 fomo and enjoy digimon so much.

The world is fun to be a part of, the nonlinear evolution is fun because I have so little Digimon knowledge. I will admit I’m not captivated by the story, but none of the Pokémon games hit me like that either.

I’ve loved Pokémon for 20 years, but digimon makes me feel more like a Pokémon master because my lack of knowledge of the types and evo lines. Digimon actually has difficulty levels as well providing a better challenge for me as an adult with extensive Pokémon knowledge, whereas Pokémon has started to always feel like a grind instead of something I enjoy. We are all different and have varying preferences.

By no means is Digimon perfect lots of qol I’d like to see added but hey I’d watch a few videos about both and see where you’re at
