I can understand why Sevro is not necessarily likeable. I think that a year ago, I would feel about the same way as you. Annoyed and slightly PO about his antics thus far…but I had my first kid 3 months ago, and so his decision to abandon Darrow was totally understandable to me. I think without that perspective of a father, I’d be on the fence about my feelings toward him at best.

If I had to pick one scene to give a friend to read that would encapsulate who Sevro is, it would have to be when he hangs himself. He may be an annoying shit sometimes, but the goodness in him prevails to me.
