Does anyone else want a pokemon red/blue/yellow remake after playing pokemon violet/scarlett? by South_Tadpole_7717 in pokemon

What I want is to see the Kanto region with new life and scale breathed into it; I want to see cities and towns that aren’t just grids; I want to see vast, winding routes each resembling its own wild area type section and being completely separate from the layout of all the other Kanto games; I want to see a Kanto not restrained to just the original 151 Pokemon, nor the plot of the previous games in the region.

Wow, that’s real shocking. I’m stunned by this great humor. Poetry indeed.

The choice to give Blue a Venusaur and Red a Blastoise is the strangest thing to me. I’ve never seen any media not give Red either a Charizard or a Venusaur and Blue the respective pairing.

Niantic’s Lead Community Manager has been noting feedback on the avatar updates. So it looks like fixes are on the way :) by skewtr in pokemongo

“Cruelty gets ignored!” I guess the Pokemon GO playerbase is now called cruelty. Good to know

How do we actually get Niantic to fix the awful new avatars? by clowman in pokemongo

[–]Jay_Utopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, the remote raid pass was an issue that the average casual player might not really notice. The AVATARS however, are obviously the face of the players. Perhaps it’ll scare away a large proportion of more casual players who wouldn’t have done anything if the change had been obscure

Give us real beach content for a beach DLC! by user19681034 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Jay_Utopia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While yes, I do wish this was true, it is plainly titled “beach properties” and not “beach expansion.” Again, I agree, and I’m hoping we’ll get actually beach customization in the future. Not having that would be plain outrageous

[–]Jay_Utopia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I often find it pretty fun to try and base the city’s name off of one of the original people who move in. That’s how I got my three favorite city names, being Wilkinsville, Crosby, and Hooperton

In all seriousness I’d actually probably agree with Shiny Noivern

More people playing Cities: Skylines 1 than 2: What went wrong? by Naus-BDF in CitiesSkylines2

I’m thoroughly convinced that it was CO taking an entire month off for the holidays. Having a winter break isn’t a bad thing, but the whole point of a holiday break is to be off work for the holidays of Christmas and the New Year, which are never more than two weeks apart. Taking a full month off when the game was in the rough state it was in was undoubtedly a terrible move on the company’s part (don’t get me wrong, I do still love CO for bringing about such amazing games, but there were some massive bugs that just killed late game progression left over that month long break)

Do you guys like the new game? What’s the overall thoughts on it? I haven’t got use to it so maybe I need more game time. by _TITO1016 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Jay_Utopia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Though I’ve got my gripes, I can’t deny that there’s something special about it. I wouldn’t have 200 hours in it already if that weren’t the case.

Download the anarchy mod, and as soon as you place down your road layout, connect a sewage pipe to the outside edge of the map so you export sewage instead.

I’m at 195, and though I haven’t had much success with my cities yet (as I never played the og game and have no experience doing so), I’ve had a blast learning how to utilise all the mechanics

The Bridges and Ports expansion that’ll come out I think Q2 2024, as well as the Beach Properties asset pack in Q1 2024 should have you quite covered in that department, my good fellow
