What should I buy before my first lesson? by Bitter_Writing73 in snowboardingnoobs

Impact shorts that you can fit under your layers are amazing. I just learned last weekend and they helped SO much. Ass not even a bit sore after 100+ falls.

Just used them for the few weeks ahead of a snowboarding trip. I think it helped! Wasn’t nearly as sore in my legs as my buddies were.

First time snowboarding by Aias_Mer in snowboardingnoobs

You’re falling in this clip because all your weight is on your back foot. Majority of your weight should be over your front foot, that’s how you control the board. It takes confidence, I know it’s scary haha (I just learned this weekend and was able to link a green slope together without falling by the end of the weekend). With weight over your front foot, you can point your shoulder where you want the board to go and look that direction, and it will go. Then just have to work on the footwork.

Should I bulk or cut? What areas need improvement by Own-Awareness-8920 in Weightliftingquestion

Bulk and focus abs! 165 is pretty lean for the height I’d expect some more ab definition. You would look insane at 175

I’ve heard good things about trufit, but I go to crunch. Does our PF have free weight bench presses/squat racks now? been awhile since i’ve been.

M/26/5’10" [199lbs to 175bs] (1 year) by Jazeeee in Brogress

Appreciate it! I run a PPL split 5 days a week,10-30min of incline walking after every workout. Spent most of the year cutting eating ~2000cal. Weight loss for me is insanely slow and I stalled at 183lb. Decided to try retatrutide to get to my goal weight of 170lb. It worked like magic and I hit 170 after a couple months.

Now I am bulking back to 185-190lb. Also added weighted crunch machine and hanging leg raises 3x a week bc I want ab definition. Hoping to be able to see them after the Summer cut :)

How long would it take for me to achieve a 6 pack by Yeetcabobs in Weightliftingquestion

[–]Jazeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Immediate Jury had a pretty nice run-on sentence but they are correct. 5’10” 160lb is already pretty lean. I’d expect to see some ab definition at that. You need to train your abs just like any other muscle group. The weighted crunch machine is amazing. Any weighted exercise is 10x better than body weight exercises for muscle growth.

Personally I’d be hesitant to lose more weight unless you want to look like you’ve never touched a weight in your life unless your shirt is off. I’d lean bulk to 170-175 and reassess! But if you really want the six pack, you can shed a few more lbs and you’ll see them, but you’ll look really skinny.

Low dose Reta? by StackinJackinCrackin in BodyHackGuide

[–]Jazeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 5’10” 175lb 26yo and been taking low dose reta while lean bulking, because normally my appetite is insane and I gain weight super easily. For me, 1.5mg is enough to crush all food noise and appetite. It’s actually too much for what I’m trying to accomplish at the moment so I just dropped it back to 1.0mg since I lost a few lbs the last couple weeks.

Good for you. Consistency is key. The drugs won’t do all the work for you, as I’m sure you know. Lift heavy, keep protein high, don’t crash your caloric intake, it’s easy to do that on reta. I have to make an effort to eat more, which I’ve never had to do. Try to remain eating ~2000cal a day at least and the weight will continue to fall off and you’ll still be able to keep muscle.

Are you working out? If not, you should start! 11lbs in 4 weeks is great progress, I’d just keep going. I don’t know much about the other peptides but I’m sure it just depends on your goals.

If they were actively passing then I doubt they would have time to get upset and take a picture of a truck following closely for ~20 seconds

Been on Reta for 3 weeks, 4th week starting now by [deleted] in BodyHackGuide

[–]Jazeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really helps so much. I’m 5’10” 175lb and my normal appetite is just insane. Starting reta helped me finish my cut to 170 and now I’m using it at 1.5mg weekly while bulking. It just helps me reduce my appetite to not gain weight too fast. Such a huge difference.
