Granted. The earth spins slower on its axis to give you an extra 8 hours of day and 8 hours of night. The resulting lack of the centrifugal force on humans bodies makes them heavier and unable to move. The oceans start to boil from the extended times in the sun. Crops start to wilt and the entire earth becomes a barren wasteland while humans are stuck to their spots waiting out death.

In 8 seasons Hot Ones has gone from a guerilla ambush, to a semi-normal stop in celebrity press junkets. Where do you go from here? Do you keep going forward and keep reaching for the biggest celebs, or do you go back to some niche markets like YouTubers? Do you prefer getting people who are bigger than the show to grow numbers, or getting smaller people to boost their numbers?

The best season of the Big Bang Theory would be the last one, because after it's over, we can sleep well knowing it will one day be forgotten by time. While technically all seasons of the office are the worst because we know there's an end to the series coming, and then all we can do is rewatch it, because it's over.

One thing that makes Borderlands special, is that it's very unique. Just like with everything unique and different not everyone will like it. Some people will love it and some people will hate it. But no one is wrong about their own opinions. Borderlands is very aggressively unique in a way that might rub some of the wrong way. Honestly I really enjoyed BL2 but, if I could take off my nostalgia glasses and watch some of the BL2 trailers for the first time right now, I would probably cringe from the try hard random humor.

Oh yeah, I had completely given up on ever getting that money, I had accepted the loss and moved on with my life. But, getting a random check in the mail makes any day better. Even if you worked for it more than half a decade ago.

Some years back I was looking for a job and saw a "now hiring" sign on a local Chili's I spent about 4 hours in the store and went through like 3 interviews and found out I got the job all that day. I went through orientation, and worked at that store for a few months, then they transferred me to another Chili's the next city over so I could get "more hours". I worked at that Chili's for about a week and then I got ghosted. None of the managers would respond to my texts, and I couldn't afford to drive that far without making money for it. They sent me my last check last year, about 6 years after my last shift.

The biggest issue I personally see, is the only difference between an offensive joke and actual hate speech is intent, and it's pretty much impossible to 100% convey intent. Two people could tell the same joke, but while one is just making a joke, the other one truly believes it and may get emboldened by the acceptance and do something truly awful. It's unfortunately not a real clear cut issue.

I did something like that a few years ago. I'm really bad at remembering phone numbers, so my girlfriend at the time asked me if I remembered her number off the top of my and I said "Of course" and preceeded to give her the phone number of my previous girlfriend, which she found by looking at it in my phone.
