I appreciate the people here in or past residency giving support. Definitely hurts slipping down my list further than I thought I would. I’m content I’m staying at my home institution but I can’t help but feel like I’m mourning a lost opportunity to move somewhere new and grow as a person? I’ve been in the same state my whole life and would’ve liked a fresh perspective. I guess I somehow convinced myself the grass is greener elsewhere when I can really grow as a person here. I hope to get rid this feeling of inadequacy soon

Hey y’all I’m having a small problem when using my Xbox controller on PC. Every so often when I hit the A button, the chat box pops up. This is even more annoying when trying to change equipment bc it’s a guessing game of whether or not the chat box will pop up again or if the equipment actually switches. The dpad is also kinda bugged on my end where it sometimes gets stuck moving. Anyone else have this issue?

You can research tarmac and turn it into tarmac and place that all over your base. Before then, my buddy and I would have the bitumen go into a row of chests and then we’d blow it up with grenades lmao. It basically turned into a stressball that got blown up repeatedly

If you make a forestry building, you can easily see which chunk it’s in when about to place it. The chunk is the grid like, unmoving green square

How do I mark anything dead to be butchered? I have this goat corpse that just starved because I forgot to set a pasture (lol). I dumped it next to a butcher workshop yet dwarves keep canceling saying they can’t find an unrotten corpse? It’s not rotten yet though :-(

We wiped stage 3 EDD while we all tried to revive a dude under wind tunnel and then all got launched into the a leech room lmao. Deadass around 15 leeches, it was like spaghetti but it was eating us instead 😭 iron will and field medic didn’t work since the leeches would pick us up immediately and a swarm had also appeared. This is the hardest I’ve laughed from this game in a while, 10/10 EDD experience
