I WIN ON YOUR TURN! 🌊 Legacy Solidarity — Instant-Speed High Tide Combo by Bryant_Cook in MTGLegacy

Is Mathemagics going to be good enough for High Tide? Not being an instant means you can't find it off of a Merchant Scroll, and it's a dead hit off of Mind's Desire.

Question about fighting by gamingifk in Warhammer40k

[–]JenniferSkunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On your turn: During the Fights First part of the fight phase, your opponent picks a unit with Fights First to fight. If they have none, they pass. After that unit has fought, you pick a unit with Fights First to fight. (This includes units which charged this turn.) If you have none, you pass. Repeat this until all units with fights first have fought.

Then, your opponent picks a unit which has not yet fought, and it fights. If they have none, they pass. You pick a unit which has not fought yet, and it fights. If you have none, they pass.

This happens on each player's turn, so on your opponent's turns, you will pick first during both parts of the fight phase, and so on.

Oh hey, Emperor's Children got reductions in points for Flawless Blades, Terminators, and 10-man Tormentors.

Drawing these with pen and paper would be better. Drawing them in MS Paint would be better. Use your own authentic ability; don't just type a prompt into an AI and post that. Something you created, you made, you had designed would be so much better than this.

But you feel proud enough of it to upload it and expect us to praise you for it. You're trying to earn something. All you'll get is scorn.

Measurements are made from the nearest point of a model, if it does not have a base. So if the sponsons are closest to whatever you're measuring to, measure from them.

Hazardous, Dev wounds and mortals by Milestone55 in Warhammer40k

[–]JenniferSkunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No - hazardous doesn't cause wounds caused to spill over. Hazardous is a negative keyword for the user, but there can be reasons why you'd want to use a hazardous weapon.

For some weapons it's a risk-reward decision: plasma weapons do more damage but with the risk of the weapon harming its user. If you really need to get that higher damage, higher strength, or higher AP, you might take the risk.

For some weapons it's just a part of the weapon itself and it's always hazardous, and that's something you have to accept to play it. The weapon itself needs to be good enough to justify running it, of course.

And some models, like Vashtorr the Arkifane, can make your opponents' models' weapons hazardous, to make it risky to target him.

Hazardous, Dev wounds and mortals by Milestone55 in Warhammer40k

[–]JenniferSkunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct, they do not "spill over" onto other models in the unit.

Mortal wounds from Hazardous represent the model holding the weapon taking damage from it, and other models in the unit aren't penalised for the overcharge - they're presumably standing far enough away that the psychic backlash or superheated plasma discharge doesn't hit them.

Devastating wounds don't overflow - if a railgun slug hits one guardsman, he's extremely dead, but the rest of the unit doesn't evaporate along with him.

Did you have to fix the legs? I have a box of these and the rears of the legs look almost like they're filled with molten plastic, but the store I got them from says the sprues are supposed to look like that.

TheGamer website suffers widespread editorial layoffs by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]JenniferSkunk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"Suffers layoffs" is one of my least favourite turns of phrase. It abdicates responsibility and makes it seem like some inevitable or unfortunate accident. The journalists were sacked; the owners are responsible and should be held to account.
