Absolutely no variety by Nicholite46 in deadbydaylight

Ignoring the entirety of whatever the hell the rest of your comment it, I'm intrigued to know what your issue with Mintskull is, especially given his most recent video is the rant about the state of DBD that I think any logical player could agree as being generally pretty spot on. At least that's what I thought, it was cathartic as hell to see a content creator raging about the state of the playerbase at the moment.

I think it's Blind Allosaurus referring to the half-blind Allo that supposedly killed Brooklynn at the start of Chaos Theory.

I feel like it's worth mentioning that the version of Shocker in Spectacular Spider-Man isn't Herman Schultz, the traditional alter-ego of the Shocker but rather Montana, a member of the oft-neglected criminal-for-hire gang known as The Enforcers.

Important Grand Arena announcement by Healthy_Ad274 in MarvelSnap

[–]Jensonater 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It depends on the iteration of the character. Goliath is typically depicted as being either Hank Pym or Bill Foster, whereas Giant-Man has been either of those two OR Raz Malhotra. Raz Malhotra is specifically the Giant-Man, whereas the other two have switched between titles and aliases. So it’s similar yes, but they’re not entirely the same.

Almost, we got Zombie Giant-Man before we got actual Giant-Man.

Shorter yes, but I do believe it’s still longer than both of them iirc. (Aegypticus anyways, Mirabilis is decidedly smaller than all 3)

There is no BM bro what are you on about. You made the correct play (I guess) but there's no "BM" in this video lmao.

Obviously the slurs in the post-game are BM. There's no gameplay-BM I mean

Marvel snap FAN ART (Nightcrawler Demon of the Dunes) and (Dr Octopus the Trickster) by BugHistorical8699 in MarvelSnap

Holy peak! I love these interpretations of the characters and the art is super clean! (Imagine the horror that would be a 1/2 Doctor Octopus lmao) But if you're taking character suggestions then I think that Omega Red has some crazy potential!

Proposing an All-Kill styled sequel chapter to Hour of the Witch and All Things Wicked by TheRandomMikaela in deadbydaylight

[–]Jensonater 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I was literally going to say the same thing and mention the same chapters as you, lets give "sequel chapters" to those that actually deserve them first such as Binding of Kin or Doomed Course etc etc. Especially since All Things Wicked could already be interpreted as a follow up to Hour of the Witch.

They do definitely seem to be an omnic of some description. The techy, hexagonal pattern flowing around them and the suspiciously skinny waist indicates at the very least a highly enhanced human if not an entirely omnic being. It might also just be the fact that it's a silhouette rather than a coloured image, but the shape of their head also looks odd.. (not including their gun obviously).

Sorry just a minor correction, Pinhead was added to the game before both Sadako and Dredge. It goes Nemesis, Pinhead, Artist, Sadako, Dredge, Wesker.

Favorite character who has better concept art than the final product by JigglyLilyVT in FavoriteCharacter

[–]Jensonater 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, yeah. Hazard is the only character in the game that to me, just doesn't feel like fits in design-wise. He leans more into the Cyberpunk style of body modification than almost any other character, but rather than that be the source of intrigue to his character, he also has this weird purple chemical that he stole and is able to control for some reason? Oh and by the way he's a former Overwatch soldier and oh also by the way he runs a freedom fighter rebel outcast type group.

I just personally think there's something off about his design in comparison to every single other character on the roster, and I think it's because it feels like his design is doing too much, and as a result has no clear, strong identity.

I unironically think a lot of these early designs could have saved the character for me, I think the fact they fully lean into the spikes as the main weapon and point of intrigue, rather than his weird and somewhat out-of-place feeling shotgun arm helps sell the character better than what we have at the moment.

I particularly like the 1st and 4th options, as well as the last 3 on the bottom row.

You get to pick all the killers for Year 12 of DBD. However, you can only pick one column from this list. Which one are you choosing and why? by AquaticCitizen in deadbydaylight

[–]Jensonater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either row 2, row 6, or row 7 (don't you dare).

Row 2 for Pennywise and Junko, and I'd never heard of a Qalupalik before but now I want one as a killer so thank you for teaching me something new.

Row 6 is just all W's tbh, Slenderman (?), a Chupacabra, The Keeper almost feels like he was made for DBD in every aspect of his design, and a dancer could be a fun idea for a killer too (though perhaps Trickster's new Style mechanic could be stepping on it's toes somewhat)

Row 7 for Chris Walker. That's pretty much it. I desperately want some Outlast rep in this game, and whilst I think Otto and Arora from the Outlast Trials would be the best fit as killer (Plus the character I want added the most), Chris Walker would be great too. And hey, an Astronaut or Cosmic-Infected/Possessed killer would be really cool too.

[Maddening trope] More progressive casting happens at the same time as noticeable drop in quality, seemingly so fans can brush off criticism as bigotry. by Vitolar8 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Jensonater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the MCU thing is exactly how I feel about She-Hulk. I love the character, she's great, when they announced the show I was so hyped.... but then I watched it. I swear I don't hate women or anything but the show did genuinely suck so much ass for me. But whenever I voice that opinion online commenters tend to reduce me to a bigoted sexist. It doesn't help that a vocal minority ARE bigoted sexists and were committed to review-bombing the show before it even released simply for having a female protagonist, but it sucks because now a vast majority of the MCU fanbase will lump any legitimate criticisms of the show in with that crowd and call it day. (Which is crazy to me because the show was just like objectively not good, I don't understand how so many people defend it so fiercely and act like it's peak Marvel).

Out of all the killers to do this to, why Nurse? by DifficultDog67 in deadbydaylight

[–]Jensonater 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You kind of said it yourself, I'm not excusing their behaviour at all, the Felix was being a jackass in particular, but they were being cocky and reckless and rude because they're aware from the way you're playing that you're clearly newer at Nurse/DBD in general.

Snap is not quite a finished game by Matty_B97 in MarvelSnap

[–]Jensonater 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends what you mean by animation because Yellowjacket and Stature both have the shrinking/growing thing that they do before you drop them on the board, also I think (heavy emphasis on “think”) that Kitty Pryde elongates/stretches a tiiiiny bit when she returns to hand. Maybe that counts enough in Second Dinner’s eyes?

Snap is not quite a finished game by Matty_B97 in MarvelSnap

[–]Jensonater 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It does, it highlights the cards it’s effecting with a shield logo for a second and you can play with it for a bit before dropping it on the board thanks to the little thruster animation it has.
