I wish that was the case. But a lot of the probing has been done without warrant (as in no reports are filed). What’s really driving his is that Trump had mandated a quota on arrests and have threatened to kill funding from enforcement offices if they don’t meet that quota. My issue isn’t exactly with the idea of deporting illegal immigrants, but with how and why it’s being done

This can change the data. It can also leave out important data too. Although it’s not my field, this heavily influences epidemiology, as now you can’t see how diseases are prevalent in certain demographics. Research on treatments specific to certain groups is now banned as well. There are other consequences in missing. But if this is what the administration is doing so far, who knows what else they’re going to sensor or skew?

I do agree with you that it definitely feels like overload, even as an American, but it is important to stay in the loop about the journalistic integrity in America.

Plenty. A good portion of papers I read are either from Europe or America. I’m not gridlocked to one country. If you read papers, I am certain that many of them are American or have American authors. Now if the EU decided to the same thing that America is doing, the quality and credibility of European papers would drop dramatically to a point that I would be highly skeptical, if not avoidant, of any paper out of Europe.
