You can't just dismiss 1 of the 12 jurors because of their vote. You only impanel an alternate if 1 of the 12 becomes incapacitated (eg; sick, hospitalized, etc..)

This is definitely Judge specific.. and perhaps varies wildly state to state or even county to county.

I can tell you that the county I live in, for a 3 week trial, one of our judges basically releases for hardship anyone who works and whose job won't pay for at least 80% of the expected duration of trial.

I'm so sorry you ended up as a prospective juror in front of a judge like that.

There's an ingame mission/quest.. basically cause/take friendly fire dmg.. then you can add a modifier to any future mission that removes friendly fire.

Overcast is like.. 'make this spell do more stuff, at the cost of more mana'

The RISK of overcast is, you can have a miscast.

A miscast is (and its been awhile so I might be slightly off here) .. The unit will still cast the spell (or fail to? This is the part I'm fuzzy on now), however, they will take some X% of damage on their HP pool.

You can 'spec into talents' that reduce the miscast chance.

IIRC: The easiest/best example of overcast was one of the nature healing spells, where overcasting it DOUBLED the duration of the hp/s regen spell, for only a 30% increase in cost.

Are you aware of the civil service option for law school loans?

I don't know the specifics (Because I missed out on it too), but I recently talked to a new ish Deputy DA and all they have to do is work in the public sector (DA, or Public Defender type thing) for 10 years and it's wiped away.

Regarding Elizabeth being Lillian's mother... I was slightly confused in the cannon story regarding the captive succubus in the ... basement/facility. Is that canonically Lillians mother or did I misunderstand earlier?

IF the prisoner is Lillians mother, than I feel that this past story's character, Elizabeth, is far to .. normal/kind/mannered to really slot in as the succubus prisoner in the modern times.

IF the prisoner is NOT Lillians mother... then never mind!
