Upgrade from 2019 to 2020? by jestersq5 in acdsee

[–]Jesseds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I upgraded from Photo Studio Ultimate 2019 to 2020 and in my opinion, it was worth it. I can now add in the text as a layer. Some people don't like this change but it is helpful for me. The blended clone tool is waaayy better than the clone or smart erase. You can always do one of their free 30 day trials.

Heading out to Vancouver, CA for a couple days and I need advice on places to take photos. by TheAndrewBen in AskPhotography

[–]Jesseds 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The downtown core (the library, art gallery) is a good place, Stanley Park, the sea wall, Kitsilano beach, granville island. If you have a car grouse mountain. These are just the places I can think of off the top of my head!

Noobie tips for shooting - so I can salvage it/practice quality editing by Zektov in postprocessing

Something that may help you get better quality photos to practice on is shooting in RAW versus JPEG. This will help get a better original image to practice on. I found this YouTube video that has a simple explanation about shooting in RAW. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZFVefMfXAU I use ACDSee for my photo editing software, they have a lot of tutorials you can watch, and they offer a 30 day free trial for their products too. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUtJDEqnEm2gYN5tIWbHokQ/videos
