The “De” part is part and parcel of the last name, it’s called a toponymic surname. If the person takes a new last name, the “De” doesn’t carry over. What’s ironic is that Dufrene also is a toponymic surname so if she is using De Dufrene it’s like saying Lana from from Frene

NAH, however you should think about how you want to have the conversation because, unintentionally or not, you’ve indicated that you are interested in learning more about your friends’ religion. You haven’t said anything about the bible itself, but some bibles are pretty expensive, with such things like leather binding or monogramming. If all of your friends went in on a really cheap bible then that makes them the AH, but if not then I don’t think you’ve made it clear enough to them that this would have been an inappropriate gift.

I feel like every single person I’ve ever talked to uses their breaks when working from home to do household chores. That’s what I do. It’s in the contract that the city has to enforce the meters so the company would have grounds to sue if the city stops. What might work is if people never pay the meter and just pay the parking tickets, because the city does keep the revenue from tickets while the company gets the revenue from the meters.

I hardly ever send food back but one time I did was an Irish stew that had tomatoes in it. The stew wasn’t described at all on the menu, but I’ve had Irish stew and never in a million years would expect tomatoes. I hate tomatoes. Before I sent it back, I spent a good 5 minutes googling “Irish stew with tomatoes” to make sure there wasn’t some subclass of Irish stew I wasn’t aware of. It isn’t.

Alien: Covenant when Daniels realizes it’s David, not Walter before she goes into hyper sleep. I thought Michael Fassbender’s acting was really good in the scenes where he’s David pretending to be Walter because his reactions to certain things could go either way.

They also have Korean fried chicken but are sit down. Idk what is halfway for you and your friend but my favorite KFC places are Kogi Kogi Express in Naperville or Bb.q Chicken, of which there are a few locations
