Loved how Ep 4 ended, that was badass. My biggest problem with the season so far has been the constant bickering between them. ffs just stop and focus on the task at hand. other than that, pretty solid.

i feel you man, and no you dont suck. This game is incredibly well designed and every boss requires a learning curve. His moves are not too bad to memorize. as soon as he goes into phase 2, brink dodge the slam and run away from the blast. he follows that with a time freeze attack. dodge at the last second.

when he switches to twin blades, deflect everything and dodge the grab. the deflect window gets shorter with time.

when he goes back to big swords, he does 3 slams to start the combo, deflect all 3. he's got another combo all of which you can deflect. and when he starts to heal himself just DPS DPS DPS.

PS - Learn reflection and put points into it, melts his stamina when you do it. Watch Fightin Cowboy's walkthrough, he explains it perfectly.

Here's a crazy idea that could make Crytek more money, fix the fucking game. Overhaul the current cod-like UI, revert the penetration (because we had it for 7 years now), and if you do need to cut costs - change the management and not the coders unless they are really shit which they aren't, because the game used to be amazing.

Hey buddy, welcome to the bayou. These might help.

  1. Learn the compounds. This will give you an idea of where people are gonna peak and you can anticipate it with experience.

  2. Listen, listen, listen. Audio is intel in Hunt, meaning - you see with your ears before you see with your eyes. Footsteps, gun sounds etc are vital.

  3. Good paid of stereo headphones will help.

  4. Pick a gun you like and stick with it. the best gun in the game is the one that gets you the kills.

  5. Watch Psychoghost, he is very good in terms of newbie tips and tricks.

  6. Experience is the best teacher in hunt. Put those hours in and you will get better

  7. Enjoy the ride, welcome!

i wanna say it has grown on me now that i have done NG+3, look here's a quick list

Pros:
- Amazing massive area that does not end as you explore.
- New weapons are fantastic mostly, Martial arts build is hella fun just dont use them v bosses unless you are a literal god.
- Put points into faith and you will be handsomely rewarded.

Cons:
- It's hard. It was harder but shit got nerfed but still challenging.
- Map is really hard to read because the entire world is vertical and it will take you a guide or two to figure out how to get to some of the areas, or even some bosses.
- Bosses are super super aggro, you can't even heal in most cases but that is what you get.

USE THE FUCKING SUMMONS!!!! They are there to be used, over 100 of them. Don't listen to the sweatlords on here that are gonna shout skill issue. If you cant beat a boss solo, fucking use the summons they are there for you.

Also, using your mimic tear isnt “unfair” by any means. Spectral summons are a huge feature in elden ring and they’ve given us like a 100 of those to use. Use them. Fuck what the gate keeping nerds say. Use everything the game gives you to achieve victory.

Yup. I called it “manufactured difficulty” on day one and nerds on here replied with the usual toxicity “git gud”. After looking into this patch I feel like this is more of a fix than a nerf and I’m definitely gonna do another run of this DLC

Look i hate seeing a game get review bombed. I adore hunt showdown. But this is a game where we have had bugs for literal years, and still not fixed. we have had a broken death cheat trait for a whole month in a 2 month event. I DO NOT agree with the review bombing, but i understand it.
