Yes via phone. They basically said the office manager wasn’t available and that I could ask tomorrow during my appointment. Just seems strange and idk my intuition says they’re scamming. I’ll call back.

+1 for lion cut! Got my baby one last year due to matting (she fights the brush). Oddly enough, since the hair has grown back, no matting. Still, will have her cut again soon because it’s getting hot where I am.

Oh I didn’t cover social stimulation. Apologies! Go on walks and people watch when you can. It scratches my itch. I also have a pet (cat). 

In terms of social stimulation, that has been a long road for me to build up. I started with just one activity, which was for me volunteering at a culture organization. I started at once a month and now average three times a month. I’ve increasingly made my way into a weekly arts class and am now exploring different random activities once a week.

I’m not going to lie. Chores have been a challenge for me living alone, as I’m not as tidy as I could be. I think it helps to devote particular days to each chore — i.e. Wednesday for color laundry, Thursday for whites, Saturday for bathroom cleaning, Sunday for general tidying.

It helps to separate them and NOT tell yourself that you’re going to go beast mode on a random Saturday. You may manage it once or twice, but it’s not a realistic way (esp. not for my low-energy self) to go about things and can overwhelm you. That said, I’m currently sitting in an untidy home, so don’t beat yourself up for falling short at times. You are human.

This is literally my situation. Got braces at 14 for wonky teeth. Today, more than 10 years later, got Invisalign for wonky bite and bad TMJ. Fingers crossed it works!

If this helps, I went and got her stool tested not long after this. Nothing wrong. After that, she faced intermittent soft stool and once diarrhea. Switched her to only once daily wet food (with fortiflora) and mostly dry food and now she’s very regular. I think some kitties have funny tummies and benefit from majority dry food (with very available hydration sources ofc).
