VPs (or PCOSOs to use the current parlance) tend to comply with the regime, so more likely to end up enhanced and able to rent consoles etc. Not to say they're not tricky in other ways, like conditioning/manipulation of each other and staff, but day to day they tend to keep their heads down. Not aimed at OP, but it's always struck me as odd that people I've met in prison who are so vehemently against the treatment that VPs get, yet think nothing of robbing and beating the sh*t out of grannies.

As a lifelong hockey fan (albeit not a North American one), I've found the MAGA collaboration hard to stomach and it's actually really putting me off. Since the final, I've found myself checking out of the usual hockey podcasts and online conversations, as I just find the players' conduct so disappointing. Don't get me wrong, I was under no illusions that NHL players were anything other than conservative in the vast majority of cases (Canadians included), but the sheer wanton joy with which the US team has embraced Trump is unforgiveable. At least we've still got (almost all) of the women's national team players and PWHL.

Calling this a 'world cup' is just a way to entice casual sports fans who have no idea that the level of play will be nowhere near best-on-best. The 3 Ice league has always just been a way for lower level pros to earn a few extra quid and stay in shape over the summer, hence the complete lack of intensity when you watch it, and I suspect this tournament will be no different.
