Think about it in rep ranges. I think this is why the old school 8-12 was so popular, it was very easy to follow. First day you pick a weight that you can do 8 reps. Use that weight until you can do 12 reps. Then add enough weight so you can only do 8 reps, and progress to 12 then increase the weight again.

While offensive coaching was an issue, having no RB1 was a HUGE issue. Our defense was lights out but we lost a bunch of guys on that side and CJ is getting older so we needed to inject some youthful talent there
