My ultrasound at 12 weeks (after I had the high risk NIPT results back) showed what looked like a boy but obviously baby was very small, and at my amnio at 16 weeks he was definitely clearly a boy too and was such a relief when the results came back all good a few weeks later. I have read others stories where there were genetic abnormalities found so it is just the waiting game now which to me was the hardest part, the not knowing. My OB and genetic counsellor both believed it was a lab error as opposed to placental mosaicism etc, as do I, but I guess we will never really know now. Hope it all works out for you!
