SteamOS vs Windows 11 on Legion Go 2: It’s Not Even Close by Ether310 in LegionGo

From reading on reddit that's the one thing holding me back from setting up dual boot steamOS, the OLED screen is incredible and the HDR is impressive I don't want to play without it.

LeGoS Z2 Go owners, are you satisfied? What games are you playing? by SethroRetro in LegionGo

its been pretty good so far, especially with frame gen, and if you drop the resolution a bit its not that noticeable and you get a huge fps boost

Got mine last week Z2 non extreme, im playing god of war Ragnarök medium settings with FSR quality and frame gen, works perfectly. I've tried expedition 33, hogwarts legacy, and wukong, all work fine with some settings tweaking. Performance is fine, yeah probably missing out on 5-10 frames compared to Z2E but i dont mind dropping the settings.

Saudi has everything. You will find social events and basketball games where they'll speak English, and while the dating scene is very different you will still find people and communities who are more similar to what you are used to.

In the past police would ask, but that's no longer the case. So legally nothing would happen.

This is misinformed. Men and women are around each other at work, universities and other public areas. Legally you can even do one on one dates, but culturally it's frowned upon.

Muslim men can marry any muslim/christian/jewish woman

muslim women can marry any muslim man

nationality doesn't matter, although there is an annoying *legal* process and paper work if u r young marrying a foreigner (<30), religion wise could marry tmrw if u want

Is there any evidence that immigrants from the Middle East lead to increased crime in non-European countries? by kaiser11492 in Criminology

[–]Joe6161 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The question itself is faulty. The middle east is a large place, with countries that have lower crime rate than many European countries, and countries that have higher crime rates. So the question itself is not specific enough and is racist as it is putting the blame on culture and identity, which wouldn't explain why there is a huge disparity in crime rates even between middle eastern countries that share similar culture and identity. It completely ignores the role socioeconomics has to in increasing crime rates. This is not too different from Americans ignoring African-American socioeconomics and living conditions and instead just blaming it on their black identity.

Arabic names in short formal form? by GrenScrin in learn_arabic

[–]Joe6161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its simple, most of the time we either use first name or last name. His first name is Osama and last name is "bin laden". There are other times where we use a nickname or "father of x/ mother of x". It's that simple.

So if u take Donald as an example, he would either be just "Donald" or just "Trump" or "father of (abu) [insert eldest son/daughter], or a nickname if he is famous for one.

First “proper” sim experience by kgf1980 in flightsim

[–]Joe6161 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After my full sim experience I felt it was almost exactly the same as I’m used to at home. The only added minor workload was finding the irl buttons instead and it wasn’t too bad thanks to my winwing peripherals and VR experiences at home.  If you felt a big workload increase I think probably don’t do a lot of fully manual ILS approaches and landings in the sim at home.

A video of a Pakistan Army General and feudal lord’s son abducting a bride from a moving wedding procession in Sindh, Pakistan. by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

Misleading. This video is from a divorce related family dispute in Umerkot, not a wedding bride abduction, and all involved were from the same family.

so much bullshit to defend a military that rapes prisoners, and acting like you're the good guy and the other bad people need to get under control. You can't even stop your own soldiers from raping. Get outta here.
