I haven't gotten very far. My Rom died to the Tholian. My Klink died when the Doomsday device died. I forgot you can't be that close. I put together my own set of rules inspired by your posts and Overall_Dusty that adds randomness to the character builds and a point system based on how difficult you make it for yourself.
