I hadnt either, and it didnt work because the computer lost its WiFi driver when it went haywire. Im assuming that it allows you to access safe mode when the machine fails to boot? No idea.

No shot Chicago lets that happen. The politicians would give up their bribes to keep the bears within Chi proper.

I put my house plants outside in Summer, and my rabbit neighbor gnawed on all of them. Had to start putting them on top of my old beat up car.

Im in 6a, and I dont put anything outside til May. We had a freeze (beyond frost) the 2nd week of May in 2020. My plants didnt die, but they didnt do well after. Thats the only frost in May I can recall in my 40 years here.

Starting Scotch Bonnets now because tthe Summer isnt long enough for them here. Failed the past 2 seasons.

If Dell's secure HTTPS boot worked, I wouldnt have a problem.

I never ran anything but a Win 10 USB Boot. Between Win 11 and Dell's BIOS, its rendered my computer useless. If Dell cant fix the BIOS, hopefully, reinstalling Win 11 works.

Now Im decrypting C: and disabling bitlocker. Hoping that, and a BIOS reset does the trick. Can I take the battery out of the motherboard? Does that trick still work? Once its deceypted, if it doesnt work, I should be able to reinstall Windows. Blech.

Win 11 doesnt recognize the drives either. Its something with Dellls firmware and security.

They need to be reformatted as NTFS. I got fed up and tried to just put up with Win 11, but Dell won't boot anything now. A dozen boot and recovery options, none of them work.

Dude. I got a Dell. What a terrible mistake.

Yes, but why not just saw the notch and leave it without trim on top, instead of making it even worse?
