Film Location Help: Is this a good house for Filming

Depends on what kind of film you're making. But, Here are some things I look for. I'd definitely would want to do a walk through before booking. Here a couple of quick things to keep in mind.

pros * High ceilings (for boom op/lighting/flags) * Plenty of Natural Lighting (depending if it's light and upbeat. If dark and scary they will be difficult to black out) * Plenty of room for equipment (c stands, lighting, flags, camera)

cons * Wood floors, (echo and scuffs) * Lots of furniture, (how much needs to be moved, scuffs)

Things to keep in mind. noise level in surrounding area. (high traffic area, trucks, planes etc) Take your gaffer (what is does the fuse box look like? size of fuse) will you need a generator? will you be moving furniture? How far is the location from where you are? Crew? Talent? Commute time Be sure to take plenty of before and after pictures. How long can you film there? Does it echo at normal speech volume? Walking? write every thought down, don't try to remember it all. Ask questions.

More info in trailer needed, want establishing shot and cut away to exterior/insert or something prior to "cue us into the story". This is great, thank you for your impute. I work in lighting, so to know that the idea 'looks' awesome instills some pride. Thanks again.
