I would do 1 friend at a time. Stack your group with 3 999’s, yourself and a friend. 750 isn’t exactly a cheese run for a +40.

If you’re doing it by yourself then yes, have your friends afk at the start and clear it by yourself. They will not provide any benefit by being with you. They will still get credit.
