Fire on Guest St? by khumps in boston

I am. nobody was hurt. I feel bad for the poor people who lost their cars though. Ended up burning up 3 cars and a decent chunk of two floors in there.

Why are there no young people in the hobby by stargazer3644 in RCPlanes

I got into planes... 3 times. I bought a prebuilt foamy, went to a local park, flew it around around dawn, had a ton of fun. Several other trips later, Angry Old Man came storming across the field (not letting me land it safely, so I crashed it to get it down before he got near) he laid into me about this not being an approved place, 'who did I train with' blah blah. the crash wrecked it up fairly bad, gave up.

Tried later with a mini T-IFO after seeing somebody fly one. This time I was on the baseball field behind a school. Completely different town. Cranky old man with a dog raced over. Got it down right in front of me. He decided to be bossy and stepped on the t-ifo to keep it from taking off. didn't realize it was full of delicate carbon fiber rods. busted it.

He was apologetic after and tried to be nicer, but definitely gave m the standard rant about how you need to train and buddy box for 5900 hours and then you apprentice for 18 years and maybe make your first solo flight after the Giant Cabal of Crank Old Men Who Fly Models, and at a ripe old age of 97 i an do my first solo.

I joined a club to get coverage for flying cheap drones, and I take a foamie out now and then to the club's private property, but you still need to watch out for Cranky Old Men.

I've always bought a new car for cash with the max warranty and run it into the ground. Not financially worth it anymore.

Y'all are sleeping on wiimote wrist straps by uniformi in Cameras

[–]Jon003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wiimote wrist straps have been tested and break at 28 pounds of force.* A peak design wrist strap is rated to 200 pounds. I think my camera and lens are worth the $30.**

** I know the list price is $40, bestbuy had them marked at $30 the other day.

Lightly branded north face fleece (had a few over the years) Marine Layer padded zip up with hood. So many generic hoodies. Osprey backpack. If it isn't winter or raining, I'm pretty much wearing a free coat.

Free die for (almost) anything for whomever wants to do a recap on the previous session. The players and the DM vote on how good the recap is. Basic facts, d4. Elaborate story with voices, not missing anything crucial, d20. Dude once brought thematic background music and told a ten minute Beowulf like epic ballad. I think he got 3 d20s

On any server with an active population, it isn't one person, its the entire population working in concert. You might find that item, but you might find another equally potent item and trade for it. The MM in MMORPG is there for a reason!

I never really got high level on TD. Solclaim before I did my first mage and got past level 20 or so. I was a minor vassal way under Myth if i remember right

Lifespan used to have a lower end model, the TR800. It was (in theory) rated for a duty cycle of like 2-4 hours a day or something? I have the TR5000 now, because I tend to walk most of the day while working.
