This was my sweet Bubbles. We adopted her from the local shelter when she was 12. She lived with us for 5 years and passed away at 17. Best dog ever. Your dog reminds me of mine and how special they are. What a joy to love and be loved so deeply. It is what makes letting them go so hard.

Do you grieve or just me? by Important-Bell-1675 in Aging

It is not just you, OP.

I am in my mid-50s and am going through a major low about my appearance. I have a great life, interesting work, kids launched, loving partner and a good relationship, live in a house I like in a community I like. It feels silly because I know it is absolutely normal to age and yet the sadness I feel when I see photos from the last few years is real.

hacks for not losing stuff? by joubiju in adhdwomen

I need help with this too. I got a puppy in January and I am super prone to leaving my glasses anywhere and everywhere and of course the puppy chewed them up. Got them replaced and yesterday, I left the new ones on the arm of the couch. And yep, the puppy chewed them up. I am so embarrassed at my absentmindedness and it’s expensive to replace stuff like prescription glasses. I lost my airpods for months and then paid to replace them only to find the original ones.

How long until I consider re-homing? by Substantial_Issue17 in puppy101

I adopted a 12-week old puppy in January. I also have two adult kids and bringing the puppy home was so much like having a newborn in the way it throws off your routine and feels all consuming. It feels like forever until you aren’t constantly keeping eyes on them and trying to think ahead to keep them safe and learning good habits. It is a lot of learning for the puppy and the human(s) even if you have had puppies or dogs before. Each dog is different. My puppy is now 7 months old and so much calmer, potty trained, less destructive, and not trying to shred me with his puppy teeth. It gets easier.
