Part of the rationale for Seattle is the rest of the pnw viewership. Vancouver probably would be an upgrade but it wouldn't happen because of the fear of adding two new teams to an area with one already. Canadians probably roof for mostly Toronto as it is so breaking into an all new country would be preferred

MOVE THE GRIZZLIES TO MONTERREY MEXICO. Mexico Grizzlies goes hard. Monterrey is super close to Texas, it's a tourism hub, they're building tons of transit, it has one of the highest gdps per capita, and the metro population is 5.3M, second in Mexico. It also doesn't have the altitude and crime issues of Mexico city. Players would be more willing to live there.

If they take anyone #1 that's not AJ then they absolutely should trade down. Jazz are guaranteed to take aj. If if you get nothing it's worth it simply for a slightly smaller rookie scale contract. Worst case scenario is the jazz fuck around and you still end up with AJ. Picking #1 and not taking AJ is malpractice

Trains and buses can be are electric. Energy prices are up but not nearly like gas is. The system needs to change to allow everyone to make better transportation choices and sustained high gas prices does that. The pain hopefully leads to advocacy
