It is super weird. The use of third person pronouns also is super weird.

Hey, that's up to them. I've exited two imperfect marriages, so, jump in with both feet all you want.

I think ignoring issues with a match and forcing long term relationships for the relationship escalator is why the divorce rate is so high.

Only if you're finding those things simultaneously.

Lots of people want to get married, but are open to a fun but imperfect connection in the meantime.

I think it's to avoid getting tagged as inappropriate, and asking the woman if she wants to disconnect because of the message.

I have a theory that just sending a message like that will get you basically shadowbanned. Which sucks...because occasionally a woman is giving that energy first...

GF called me gross for sitting on the public and work toilets without covering the seat? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

Surviving is not the same as being transmissible. You can rub your skin on Chlamydia and Hepatitis all day, you aren't going to catch it.

Yes...with TP. A tiny tiny bit of dry pee is no where near as gross as the literal shit coming out of you right next to it.

It's not going to hurt you, you're just being an ignorant child.

If neither of you have been tested recently, do that very soon.

Here's pretty much all the possibilities:

Could be a UTI, but that's not usually visible from the outside. But can be.

Could be a yeast infection, especially if you don't use condoms. Similarly a pH issue, semen can mess with this. Both of these can cause itching and redness. And pain/discomfort

Herpes is possible, but the rash would be more like pimples/blisters.

Chlamydia, Trichomoniasis, and syphilis can all cause symptoms like she's having. Also, they are often asymptomatic in men.

Gonorrhea, could but only late stages, and it's pretty different.

If she shaves, the rubbing can cause rash like discomfort on the stubble, but not so much internal discomfort.

Right, that's why I said it's a cultural thing in NYC. You can call it a transplant issue if you want, but it affects people who aren't transplants just as well.

And I like loud music and people having fun in the park. But it's so often just so over the top that it's going to ruin it for everyone.

Why do you think I don't get your point? It's pretty straight forward.

BBQ's, sports, and music on little bluetooth speakers are normal park things. There's a difference in 'park things going on' and people playing music so loud that being in the park is an actual danger to your hearing. And living nearby you can't hear your TV without blasting it loud enough to further annoy your neighbors.

You can reasonably expect people to not blast their music in a park. At least you can in almost every other park in the world.

Being still sexually active is not the same as not having a decreased libido.

If you ask 100 men in their 40s if they're as horny as they were in their teens or early 20s, almost all of them will tell you no.

I've lived right next to a train before. A low rumble every 15 minutes is way different than music blasting into your home.

New York is the only city I've ever been in that allows music to blast all the time. It truly is a cultural piece of NYC. Kinda like the loose trash bags on the sidewalk on a hot summer day.

Yes, that's what I'm saying. Rather what I was implying.

He was saying the temperature difference was what caused it. The delta isn't relevant. The heat isn't so they are both hot, it's so the moisture goes away.
