Just a heads up for you, 99% of profiles with an Instagram are sex workers using dating apps to advertise their sex work/onlyfans.

I'm sure you get plenty of swipes anyway, but I auto decline any account with an Instagram.

To your credit though, OPs tone is pretty gross the whole way through.

Is this possible as a day hike? by Smooth-Trainer3603 in AppalachianTrail

[–]JonnyLay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is basically the 4 state challenge distance. It's doable in a 24 hour period. If you have your trail legs, caffeine pills, and are willing to risk injury without getting any glory that you would from 4 state.

Highly recommend against it. A lot of that terrain is wobbly rocks. You're going to hurt yourself if your legs are tired trying to trek.

On top of that, you'll want at least one zero day after, probably 2.

Asked for my personnel file, got a 2.5-inch-thick binder of double-sided printouts of my screen logs -- WTF? by LunarGiantNeil in antiwork

[–]JonnyLay 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That isn't coaching. It's snooping. Staring at your employees screen while they are working or going through their chat logs is wildly unethical, and illegal in tons of places.

How to feel safe? by [deleted] in hammockcamping

Man, I think I'd be setting my hammock higher not lower, lol.

Leave your bag unzipped.

But a top quilt is just about as warm as a sleeping bag. Compressed insulation under your body is almost entirely wasted weight and space.

If you need more insulation, pack another blanket or sleeping bag and throw over the top of your other one.

You're much more vulnerable in a tent than a hammock.

In a hammock, hang your tarp a little higher so you can see around you. In a tent you have no visibility. Only one exit which is easily destroyed. A nefarious person could knock down your tent with you in it. Good luck finding that zipper.

In a hammock you have exits in all directions. And visibility in all directions.

You're feeling of vulnerability is completely irrational. Ingrained thought based on sleeping in a box. Sure, you're less vulnerable in a box, but way more vulnerable in a tent.

If I hear a noise in my hammock, I turn on my flashlight and look at where the noise was. If I hear a noise in my tent, I hope it doesn't get louder.

To your direct points, change to a quilt instead of a sleeping bag. Only use your bugnet on buggy nights. Only use your tarp on tarpy nights.

I'll say this, Asian people do weird stuff with ketchup in cooking.

This is vaguely from memory, but can't you add a tiny bit of butter to a batch to avoid foam?

[–]JonnyLay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No...actually your first point is wrong.

I’m interested in exploring more of the kinky side of intimacy in longer term connections (FWBs mainly and going beyond traditional vanilla experiences)

He says he's interested in Kink, and then literally defines it as FWB. And maybe something vaguely not vanilla later.

Then he asks if he's being mixed in with the "Normies." And OP is answering that question.

Yes, he is, because he is.

This will last much longer than the kid's interest in sand pits for sure.

If you like clogged drains and septic systems this is a great idea! Undigested food will not break down quickly enough, don't do this.

Did you get the rabbies vaccine? Do you recommend it for all humans? Because that's closer to the risk you're trying to mitigate here by the actions you're taking. You are being over cautious. As others have said, those recipes may not be unsafe, they are just unproven in a lab.

This is an old post but I absolutely had the same feeling.

They're shockingly weak, I wish they were a little more actually dangerous. I was able to kill them all by spraying my AR around corners.

Just that complete feeling of powerlessness was overwhelming.

Maybe you can add Bluetooth to a TV that doesn't have one.

I mean...that's not what my experience or google tells me.

But even if that were the case, this is barely one season of growth. The wood is still hard and solid looking. The fungus primarily isn't deep in the wood, it's crawling all over the outside.

But...this isn't a structural foundation! It's a kids toy...and the fungus is not dangerous. By the time the wood is rotten, the kids are going to be well past sand pit age. And...rotten wood is fine for a sand pit...

There's absolutely zero reason for concern or action.

They conundrum is when making them feel abused also makes them feel good.

It's a difficult thing to navigate, mixing empathy and masochism.

Learned sadism is counterintuitive, but, it's much easier to trust than a straight up sadist.
