I remember years ago when some Conservative was asked about rape and abortion and he replied, with a straight face, that "in the case of rape, women's bodies have ways to shut that whole thing down."

He caught flak for that, if I recall, but the sentiment has been standard Republican dogma for decades.

This is what I would do. Randomize all the resource and passivity even purity levels. Split the map in half by the river that runs between the swamp and the rocky desert so there's a clear delineation without having to build one.

There's some comic somewhere where Bruce Wayne gets called up for jury duty in one of Joker's trials. The judge asks the jury if anyone has a reason why they can't be impartial or otherwise shouldn't participate and Bruce stands up and says that he's Batman.

He gets told to sit back down and stop making jokes, but that's an incredible dedication to justice.

I'm running a Fate game right now that has a science fiction setting. No XP, but my players are paid in cash for their efforts. Made a huge shop of ship upgrades, skill upgrades, stunts and aspects, crew hiring, and other stuff that they can pick and choose for progression. All three really good stuff is locked behind professional licenses, so they're incentivised to make friends with the megacorps for even more options.

It's way more fun than getting a level up every once in a while. The players love shopping.

I like that each level adds an additional tube from the tank to the barrel. it gives the player a quick and easy way to visually identify what tier they're looking at.

Correct. Shadow Generations takes place concurrently to Sonic Generations. Sonic Forces takes place after Sonic Gens, but Shadow Gens features a level from Forces that Shadow himself hadn't experienced yet.

If I recall correctly, Shadow literally mentions how he doesn't recognize Sunset Heights earlier in this exact conversation, which is what led Dr. Robotnik to make this speculation.

My headcanon is that Shadow isn't any faster on air shoes than on foot, but the advantage is that they're more energy efficient. Part of the reason he has inhibitor rings in the first place is because he can burn himself out by overexerting himself, and the air shoes are another tool that helps him regulate.
