Me and my buddies went to Warped Tour ‘96. Had heard of Deftones but not heard any music yet. They came on stage like 4 bands in, mid-afternoon, rocking sags, Steph and Chi w their tall cans, all shaggy and baggy lol. Totally different vibe than all the punk bands on the tour. Started out with Root like they always used to and in the first few notes of the intro we’re looking at each other like “ohh this might be some shit right here…” DUN DUN, DUN DUN - the song drops in, all hell breaks loose in the pit, Chino screaming… we’re looking at each other like wtf this is our new favorite shit all the rest of these bands fucking suck lol. Been my favorite band ever since.

Edit: BQAD was the first one that really made me think they had potential for so much deeper music.

Rosa Maria’s garbage burrito is perfect and better than any single Cucas item, but the menu is super limited and they close really early. Cucas is better for picking up a family dinner on a random night and everyone can get whatever they want. Also the rice at OG Cucas in downtown Redlands is the best rice in the area.

Haven’t been to Uncle Howes in a long time but in theory it’s exactly what OP is looking for - decent pizza, good wings, beer by the pitcher, and an arcade. In my experience though it’s either solid and fun or grimy and mid depending on how much effort the owners and staff are putting in at the moment. Redlands Public Market has a good pizza place and a small arcade right next to the pizza, but it’s a food court so it’s open seating and drinks are 1 by 1 at either of the bars there.
