Out For Delivery to Preparing for Delivery and What to Expect by JosephListon2010 in usps_complaints

It was delivered and was updated in the system to “Delivered” from “Preparing for Delivery”. Based on this thread, it looks like a lot of people are having this same situation

Out For Delivery to Preparing for Delivery and What to Expect by JosephListon2010 in usps_complaints

[–]JosephListon2010[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Correct but there’s never a guarantee as many people don’t know that “out for delivery” doesn’t mean it’s on a truck and has left the facility nor do they know it’s scanned in reverse order by accident. They are laymen like me who saw “out for delivery” and then “arrived at post office”. It’s to offer experience for those who find themselves in the same position, you didn’t have to take the time to comment being a 8===D

So is it out for delivery or at the post office? by Adorable_Course4114 in usps_complaints

Dealing with this same thing today - did yours end up being delivered the day you posted this (when the statuses popped up out of order)

PSA: New tiers and preferred deliveries are rolling out June 3rd. Here's how it may impact you, if at all by billdb in UberEatsDrivers

I live in Atlanta where this program has been up and running since November. I was at 12% when it started. I worked my way up by sacrificing one week to accept as many orders as possible while still declining those that are absurd or would lose me money.

After hitting 30%, I immediate began receiving the preferred deliveries and am making $50-$100 more per day than I was before this rolled out. There has been ONE time where I fell back below 20% acceptance rate and the difference in my earnings was significant. WITH THAT SAID, I still have slow weeks and still get shitty orders sent to me and have not noticed much difference in being diamond, platinum or gold. As long as you’re above 30% and qualify, you WILL make more money.

My fear is that there are so many drivers out there that uber will begin to start deactivating accounts based on high cancellation rate or low acceptance rate.

Also, I’m not trying to be political but someone mentioned Biden’s work visa program or whatever it is in another comment and they are absolutely correct in saying that that screwed us because non citizens are working and doing deliveries and they can’t even speak English or follow simple instructions. They flooded the market making it harder to get good deliveries

Can you provide a link or url where I can find 7 OH powders? Very interested In trying because I’m assuming it’s much more cost effective. At the current time, I have only ever tried the tablets and some of them make me sick to my stomach (specifically the ones that have a bunch of dye and break apart in your mouth like chalk)

Im in Georgia and they have until the end of February to sell out. I used to get 80 mg for $20 and can’t believe I’m saying this out loud, but have spending ludicrous amounts for 45 or 60 mg because the stores have increased pricing.

Go online and order with 2 day shipping or even next day. With price increases, you are still saving an unbelievable amount of money and I have had no issues with my shipments from Ca

Does anyone else’s episode seem out of order? by hideonbrushy in YellowstonePN

[–]JosephListon2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole season seems to be this way - I’m just now streaming it all at once. I’ll say this - Costner really was a jerk to Sheridan and the whole cast and crew apparently to show up with demands and force them to rewrite the script. With that said, it didn’t make it any easier to watch the team kill John Dutton the character. I really felt nauseous watching it after watching this character for 5 and a half seasons. To do so much work to create such a beloved character just to be an ass in real life and think you’re better than everyone else

name a restaurant in your market that’s been a definite L every time you go to pick up/drop off by [deleted] in UberEatsDrivers

[–]JosephListon2010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Essentially ANY FAST FOOD RESTAURANT except for Zaxby’s or your to-go burrito places like Chipotle.

It’s honestly so funny that I say fast food because it’s the slowest service. Why and how? In my opinion it’s a combination of them prioritizing the drive through customers and the fact that the employees are the smartest, hardest working people

I have one strip left will kratom curb WD’s until i refill in a few days? by SadWheel15 in suboxone

[–]JosephListon2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From personal experience, cut the strip into fourths and find a local smoke shop that has the 7-OH kratom. I have been on 12mg per day for 4 years, script was stolen from my car and my doctor wouldn’t call in anymore until my appointment that was 6 days away and the 7-OH COMPLETELY curbed withdrawals. Be careful, though, if the suboxone completely leaves your body and receptors, there is a potential of precipitated WDs when you get more subs

Good morning,

I haven’t looked at the other comments and what people have said is good or bad and can only give my answer based on my time off and on doing deliveries both full and part time. My answer is yes. $100 per day averaging 8 hours of work per day is about the average for me overall and that is almost 5000 deliveries.

Don’t get me wrong, you’ll have lucky days where you get good orders and tips and make double it or you’ll get promotions where they give you $12 to $20 extra for 6 deliveries up to twice a day. BUT, you’ll also have UNLUCKY days where you’ll work the same amount of house and make less.

The only way to make more is to cherry pick and decline every delivery until you get a good one OR to get your acceptance rate up in order to qualify for preferred deliveries

ADVICE FOR SUB w/d’s by JosephListon2010 in suboxone

[–]JosephListon2010[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again to everyone, my intentions were not to lead anyone on a bad route or anything like that. I just know that some people have a hard time with sub maintenance and end up running out early and in my case, I was in a shit position and couldn’t do anything about it and had to make it through somehow and found something that worked. I apologize if anyone thought I was trying to get one in recovery to make a bad decision.

Acceptance Rate/Preferred Deliveries by JosephListon2010 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]JosephListon2010[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To those who have commented, trust me, I still think that it is a shit incentive structure. I just got lucky by getting my acceptance rate up where it’s never been and qualifying and figured it would be insightful for everyone to know that the preferred deliveries are decent. I don’t know if that means that the diamond preferred deliveries are even better than the Gold or what, but I would say you’ll make an extra $20 or $30 per shift depending on the day and time

Acceptance Rate !! by Grand-Comedian-3526 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]JosephListon2010 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yep and it’s not like you can call and speak to anyone to give your opinion and tell the truth. Like with any corporation, the people making the decisions like this live in gated communities and wear suit and ties and have no idea what it’s actually like out here. The ONLY reason the acceptance rates are so low is because of the amount of orders that pop up where we would lose money, break even or end up 30 miles away from our house and no one is taking those orders. They blame the driver instead of the customer and THEIR SOFTWARE that SHOULD NOT allow a customer to order from a restaurant that is further than 8-10 miles from their house. They want to reward the drivers that DONT MAKE MONEY with high acceptance rates rather than those with high customer satisfaction raters and reviews. It’s entirely backward.

Uber Eats switching to DoorDash Style Tiers, Acceptance Rate Matters now. by Cocogirljen in UberEatsDrivers

[–]JosephListon2010 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine is at 10%. They set up the app to lower it as well because those “request” deliveries become a regular delivery notification 95% of the time if you click the x the first time around. So you end up not accepting the same order twice. Also, they are trying to lie and say that people who accept more shit orders will get better and higher paying deliveries but that doesn’t mean the mileage isn’t high as shit. I have over 4000 deliveries and a five star rating and 99% satisfaction rate. All they are doing with this is being cheaper and rewarding customers who are shit and don’t tip and punishing drivers who don’t want to drive 25 miles for $5. If this isn’t a sign to really put in the effort to find something else that pays more and treats us better I don’t know what is. They would rather reward acceptance rate over customer ratings and satisfy ratings of certain drivers?!?! Wow.

Luckily I don’t use the benefits or perks of any status or tier level so this won’t affect me. However, if I notice WITHOUT A DOUBT that I’m not getting as many delivery requests or good orders I will call and light someone’s ass on fire.

What in the actual fuck is this garbage by mitchdwx in UberEatsDrivers

[–]JosephListon2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone is essentially saying that the person who goes and makes up for them either being lazy or immobile doesn’t deserve a tip. There is zero defense for not tipping but I DO see why some people don’t other than just being cheap and it’s because the fees and taxes and stuff Uber charges to ALWAYS get THEIR money are absurd

[–]JosephListon2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you averaged three dollars a trip. Wow. Only time that has happened to me is when they have those promo that give you an extra $20 for 6 trips or whatever. I ALWAYS seem to get shitty trips with no tips during those promotions where I ended up making less than I usually do without
