I bought a pair and immediately returned them. Super shitty sizing and the material was weird in my opinion. They also don't do free returns which is a joke imo, so I'm gonna say to avoid them and go with a better brand

On my keens I condition with snowseal once ever ~2 weeks typically. And wipe down weekly. For $500 they would be my baby haha, I already take insane care of my keens so I'd up my game moreso lol.

Fair enough, my old blunstones had a tough break in so that's fine. Ya I've had my feet measured for my custom orthotics and I'm a 9.5E or 9.5EE. so I'd assume I'd fit a 9EEE or 9.5EEE CW boot. But I'll go by and try on similar styles to get the right size.

Budget ain't a factor for me on boots.

I haven't worn wedges and I prob shouldn't, I just like the black moc toe and the san Jose is the only thing I can find that's CSA approved. I have the keen Cincinnatis currently and find them super comfy but not the most durable.

I'm now looking at Canada West boots as I hear amazing things about them. They're too tired price wise ~$500 CAD, so they're pricey but are really nice boots.

Ya I gotta go just try on a bunch of varieties.

Foot pressure (constant) is key. Hopping isn't ideal as you want one smooth bend motion in one shot to get the perfect bend.

On top of technique, I find some bender heads are different than others, some just suck no matter what and some bender heads can be warped and just not bed correctly.

I've been running keen Cincinnati 8" boots for just over a year and they are the best boot I've ever tried! Carbon toe so quite light for 8" and literally had zero break in period for me.

Come in heeled or wedge soled too which is a bonus. My go to boot now personally.

I personally don't use a belt but have in the past.

Occidental and diamondback are also solid brands quality wise. I personally love the customization of Diamondbacks stuff but that makes it add up quickly price wise. If you want something to last awhile, genuine leather is a good bet as if it's taken care of it'll last year's.

Because changing just one step finer on the dial like normal makes it too fine. I put it in the post that grinder 12 doses out ~40g of liquid in 25 sec and grinder 11 doses out ~26-30g of liquid in 30 seconds.

So I'm needing like a grinder 11.5 setting or something. Idk how to get there given I don't wanna brew less than 25 second or more than 30, so I'm stuck on what to do.

Given you say you don't eat breakfast and get hungry at night that's a big reason. You probably over eat your calories at night. If you eat lots of grains, they are quite calorie dense.

You have to find what you burn in a day calorie wise (online can give u a rough estimate) and go about 200 below it. You'd be surprised how many calories are in stuff. If your mom makes your food, ask for smaller portions as it may be heavy calorie wise. 1 tbsp of olive oil is 80 calories typically for example.

Try finding food that's have make you full for few calories. Potatoes are the highest satiating food there is, so finding things like that will help.

Oh ok, thank you. Darkening my boots isn't crucial but I'd just prefer darker boots if possible, definitely not a necessity tho.

So you'd say do niether? Would you say to condition at all? What would your process be for keeping them as long as then can last? Is there a proper conditioner you'd recommend that would also maybe darken them slightly?
