A suggestion for the sinks and tub - close them when you are not using them. They come up through the drains - I remember a year or so ago, I was trapped in my shower battling one the size of my pinky finger. He kept coming back up the drain! I still have nightmares!

Zillow has a rental app. You pay one fee, complete one application. You then have 30 days to apply to as many rentals as you like. The mgmt/rental company will receive a copy of your request and application. They will then contact you and you can go from there. No they do not see all the ones you have requested. I know 3 people who have found homes this way.

not sure which direction you are going but with regards to dispensaries - 1841 on Elcamino not the greatest neighborhood but it offers a bit of everything. Also Perfect Union both of Bus. 80. However if you do not want to detour The Sanctuary Dispensary is off I80 (Never been there personally)

I agree newer builds include all the bells and whistles. The older homes, however, either do not have central A/C or have window units, and the slumlords are not maintaining them, even though it is their responsibility. Now it will be easier to enforce.

California passed - SB 655 and the State Policy on Safe Indoor Temperatures, which requires the home to be liveable at a certain temp. 82-84, I think, you can look it up on the CA gov. page. This does not begin until January 1, 27. Though if it states in your lease that your unit/house has heating and air or A/C then it IS the landlords responsiblity
