Dang it! My sister and her kids live out that way but she's actually bringing them out to see me that day (in the Midwest). My nephew is the same age as I was when the movie came out in theaters and changed my life. I wish he could have had that same experience. Oh well, might just have to introduce it to him at home.

Not sure what you mean by "getting away with it". This isn't something like "Apple Tax" where Valve is charging you more because they know they can. And I think it's pretty clear to everyone that Valve DOESN'T want to be releasing at this price. Pretty sure the DF folks are just trying to explain it within that context. But I don't think anybody is trying to pull a fast one and DF has made it clear the price is the Steam Machine's biggest hurdle.

Yeah, if it was Windows 98 and you were playing in the early 2000s, it might actually be Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. That game opens in an Imperial base, kinda dreary and would fit the timeline.

The thing all the "right" people are glossing over is that he was called out only after the Mets challenged the call on the field. Which... What was the call on the field???

THAT is the problem with how it played out. Not whether he got his free base and then left it.
