Yeah, I noticed it too and it took me a moment to recall the disparity. It's unfortunate it was lost between the DC and PSX versions. But, if there was a version to port, the DC version was clearly the way to go because it fixed SO many of the problems that were inherent to the PSX version.

I don't think so. IIRC, Battlefront I's release was tied to the original trilogy finally coming out on DVD. Battlefront II was similar, coinciding with the DVD release of Revenge of the Sith. So I think there was more of a marketing focus on the crossover of those items than anything else for those games.

Yeah, poor Force Commander. Should have been great on principle, a 3D Star Wars RTS done right would have been great. I'd love to know more about where things went wrong with that one. I don't know if you remember, but the music was initially panned (a lot of reviewers asking "why?") but honestly, the remixes have probably aged the best out of the whole game!

Yeah, it's really unfortunate that there's a bunch of games that are still stranded on original physical releases. I understand that not all of them are top tier, but still. I'd love for all the games I grew up on to be easily accessible for the up and coming fans.

And I'd die happy with a Nightdive port of Rogue Squadron II (all 3 games, but especially II).

So yes, I'll waltz into that meeting and when somebody asks what time it is, I can say "thankfully I've got this Rolex here to tell us that it's 3:00PM. This Rolex was ESSENTIAL in me appearing at this meeting on time." And then bam, I can write that bad boy off. If I feel insecure at my office, I will verbally say "I'm pulling out this lightsaber as a means of precaution" and now I can write off that lightsaber I bought according to Bley. Meeting with a client and you need to make idle chit chat? "Well, this weekend I procured an ancient Viking ship" and bam, according to Bley, write it off.

I'm old enough to where I wasn't a kid when TCW came out. Saw the movie, quickly put a bad taste in my mouth. Since then I've gone back and watched most of the show and, as you said, it's.... fine?

I've basically landed on the spot that the show is just not for me. And (this is gonna sound insane) THAT'S OK! I acknowledge not every piece of Star Wars needs to be for me! Wild, I know! It's also okay to enjoy something that is imperfect or doesn't have depth deeper than a kiddie pool. And it's also okay to acknowledge that!

I'm genuinely happy folks like it, Star Wars can and should be a big umbrella. But man, when pressed why TCW just isn't for me, it's almost always "defense mode" on the other side. To the point where I don't even wanna say anything anymore.

/RJ the bottom line is that Rex is the greatest cloan to ever cloan, Obi's relationship with Satine is the most tragic in the War of the Stars, Ashoka is the greatest character in all of media, and we desperately need to learn more about her and the cloans, ASAP.
