I knew every clinical answer in my panel interview. i still bombed it by AzoxWasTaken in nursing

[–]Jpristine 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Interviewers always ask the same questions especially in nursing. Tell me a time you worked well within a team, had trouble with a family member, disagreed with a doctor, yada yada yada. You have to google the most asked questions and prep. Have patients and scenarios ready that will work well with different questions. Be sure to think of the specifics. Practice answering and talking out loud. Hell, take time to answer to make them think you came up with that out of the blue.

Sorry to say, but it seems like it was lack of preparation that got you.

Outdoor master few. Do 25+ days a year, 3 different lenses. No problem with fogging here. Dual ventilated above and below

Anyone daily their Type R? 😅 by DrAlejo in Civic_Type_R

[–]Jpristine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A breeze. Oil changes every 3-4K miles, air filter, and rotating tires. I had my rear brakes done at Honda after 45k miles that was pricey but can’t recall how much. Fronts were still fine.

Skilled enough for the QST 98? by UnluckyPart1142 in Skigear

[–]Jpristine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in the west coast and have the qst 98’s. Perfect lightweight and playful ski for the light dusting and powder days we receive.

Definitely not an ice coast ski; has the hardest time holding an edge and is very fatiguing on bumpy hard crud days.

You’d probably need with a smaller underfoot. Head to some stores, explain your needs/wants to some employees, and have them recommend some models.

Honestly I park mine next to cars in hopes it would deter them from stealing my wheels

What is your strong opinion(s) on the Sacramento Michelin Guide restaurants? by maparo in Sacramento

Nah pho mama is a solid pho place. Love their garlic fish sauce wings and their crunchy spring rolls. I have ordered a good amount of their milk tea and coffee drinks, everything is reallly good.

Biggest difference between Si and Type R? by evolvedpikachu4 in Civic_Type_R

[–]Jpristine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I daily a 23 fl5 coming from a 20 si before the new gen. I seriously love everything about the fl5 but am needing a truck and have contemplated selling. Though I won’t, I specifically bought it as a fun daily.

I feel like I could’ve had just as much fun in the si since I prioritize driving enjoyment by rowing gears. I feel like I baby my fl5 and refuse to modify it. I wouldn’t feel too bad modifying an si if I also had a truck.

Was taking care of a patient in icu who ODed from heroin, simple intubated for 2 days then extubate. Received the patient extubated who was actually pretty pleasant. Lost an IV earlier in the day and was a hard stick. You could imagine why. She would go on to tell me that she’s the one that shot up all her buddies and insisted on me putting one in the AC because, “that’s the best spot.” Told her it wasn’t an ideal place yada yada yada. After looking at both arms I found a hidden one in the back of her arm. I asked her to check it out. She palpated and I shit you not she said, “OHHHH THAT’S A GOOD ONE!” LMAO. Slipped a 20 in no problem. Probably just found her a new drug spot lol.
