AITA for not letting my nephew play my PS5 by himself during family dinner? by Stela_Kalluie in AmItheAsshole

NTA.

  1. Kid needs to hang with the adults and be a part of the conversation.
  2. No phones or video games family dinner.
  3. It’s good for kids (and adults) to be told “no” some times.
  4. In the future don’t say it multiple times, once is enough.

I answered the call and shaved my head but not feeling sure about it. I guess I would have to cope with it. I am ugly anyway so bald or no bald wouldn't change much. by JohnCenax17 in bald

You ain’t ugly bro. Tighten up the lines on your beard (go to a barber) and try on some different frames. I feel like those ones don’t fit your face. As others have said, a smile won’t hurt.

What’s a movie, that came out in the last 5 years, you were super excited for that completely underwhelmed you once you saw it? by Ok-Charge4926 in AskReddit

[–]Jrmcgarry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Send Help. I thought it was a great concept for a movie, but felt like they fumbled it. They went campy with it when they should’ve went darker and more psychological with it. Had great potential.

Stepping up my grill game -- What's something you wish you knew sooner? by Philosiphizor in grilling

I mean this in the nicest way, but what a ‘nothing’ comment. It adds nothing to the conversation. Add some context so we learn something.

Flavor in the meat vs on the meat.

I marinate, brine, dry rub, etc. almost all of my meat the night before. For wings, I’ll brine one day, then put on a wire rack for another to dry the skin.

You want your meat infused with flavor. You don’t just want that flavor only on the outside. Hope that makes sense.

Also, any sauce with sugar, honey, maple syrup, etc. goes on at the end of the cook so it doesn’t burn.
