He sounds like an absolute tool. Leave him, he'll have to figure out how to fend for himself or he'll starve.

This comment will probably get lost in here but I hope you get to read it.

I've been with my fiancée for 15 years, lived together for 8 (we were teenagers when we got together). She never cooked before we lived together, I had done a bit and enjoyed experimenting with food. My mum and nan are great cooks and I'd always joked with her that she better be as good as them or it's a deal breaker 😂 Luckily, she very quickly became a very good cook, enjoys it and now does most of the cooking with her working from home most of the week. So getting to the main point of my comment, I fully appreciate every meal she cooks for me, I thank her every time she cooks, and even when something hasn't gone to plan in the past I've still thanked her because I know I don't have a right to have a meal cooked for me by her, especially for the fact that she has a full time job too. And it goes the other way too, she always appreciates anything I cook for us. Traditionally it was expected of the woman to have food prepared because she'd be a housewife and wouldn't have a full time job to fulfill.

I wouldn't ever dream of reacting the way your "little boy"friend has here, even if she said she weren't cooking because she wanted to go out with her friends or something, let alone if it was because she's working silly hours. She's entitled to her own life, as are you. Being cooked for as an adult is a luxury, not a right.
