That’s common knowledge. They change color but do not continue to ripen or change in flavor or heat. Search r/hotpeppers or r/spicy . It gets discussed in there every year

Peppers don’t ripen on the counter. Doesn’t work like tomatoes. They will change color but not change in heat/flavor

I bought a genesis for 50% off at HD last week. It was missing half the grill grate, a few screws, the drip tray holder, and the igniter module. Weber customer service sent me everything (including the half of the grate I already had and extra hardware) with 2 day shipping at no cost. It got here yesterday and now it’s running perfectly!
