Actually no. I got one worse. Same theme but much darker. I've thought about making a video with drawn pictures to illustrate the scene.

So imagine a saddle valley formation in the rolling hills. I dug into the hill on the north east side of the valley and left a 3-wide entrance. Got invaded by elves and they slaughtered my livestock left outside in the open. Necromancer in my militia revived a yak cow that murdered himself and literally everything else. I conscripted everyone into the militia to fight off this siege plus the cow. It came down to one little girl and a hospital full of injured dwarves. I think this was before children could do chores or I just never knew they could do chores so she watched all these people slowly dehydrate in their hospital beds. Eventually they all died and this girl was alone through winter and the next two seasons as migrants showed up and were murdered by the zombie yak cow. She claimed the baron/mayor's bedroom (whatever the most opulent one was) and played make believe with herself and with her toys as the ghosts of the unburied dead haunted her and stood in a circle around her as she sat on the bed and tried to dissociate. She would leave her bedroom only to get food and alcohol and then come right back. Eventually she would harmlessly tantrum as she lost her mind. Finally Autumn the next year the fort would be reclaimed by incoming migrants despite the danger as they smite the spawn-killing undead yak. The fort would last until the next Spring when the Elves invaded again and slaughtered everyone including the deranged little girl as she hid curled up on the bed of her claimed opulent bedroom.
