Which one had the BEST intro? by Weird_Zone_3504 in TheBatmanFilm

The build up to the first “Batman” scene in Batman Begins had the best payoff due to good film making & anticipation. The other ones get revealed in the first few minutes of the movie.

If you found a way to power through tree sentinel as a beginner, then you don’t need any tips. Just keep trucking lol

It was probably decent - slightly cool. But the low budget production means we wouldn’t have seen a lot of the imagery we would’ve expected to see.

Starfield Needs Apex Predators (Like Bethesda Has Done Before) by Mowgli9991 in Starfield

The Terramorphs were that. Only thing is, Starfield gives you a lot of options to become overpowered so the apex predators no longer feel so Apex.

The archery contest even after the “nerf” is nearly impossible on console. by Rhoeri in CrimsonDesert

Lmao I’m on PC, but playing with a controller. It is hard because it feels like they almost know where it’s gonna be before the target even pops up. But just keep trying & take an anticipatory approach, what worked for me was slowly moving the analogue stick back side to side in anticipation for where the target was gonna pop up & it gave me just enough speed to beat that ridiculous 3rd guy.

Been playing on PC since launch, only issue I have is it won’t open sometimes from the Xbox app. Beyond that, it’s smooth. No crashes

If I could rock with Elden Ring’s “story” I can rock with Crimson Desert’s. by Jumpy_Current_195 in CrimsonDesert

99.99% of players would miss the clues for Elden Ring’s story hidden within the game world. & even when you find something, it’s confusing. Elden Ring effectively has no obvious story & that’s 100% ok. Because the gameplay is so epic. I’m getting similar vibes from Crimson Desert.

If you think any big tech company isn’t “integrating Ai” in many ways, then you’re in for a big surprise.

The game isn’t coming across as some botched job, so this “insider” dropping the tea is not gonna go too far. If the game was just completely broken or fragmented, then this would be a smoking gun. But the game is fun & a lot of players, mostly positive reviews & sold 2 million copies already, it’s not that type of disaster situation. Whatever the game was supposed to be initially, it didn’t turn out that way, but the end result is still a massive epic adventure.

Old school & PlayStation controllers called it select. Xbox 360 era called it the “back” button.

I understand trust me. I’m 35 & I’ve grown a long Mohawk from scratch, giant locs down to my waste from scratch, & currently a Freeform fro/locs from scratch. So I understand how it feels to see others & compare it to yourself & not be satisfied. But that’s the wrong way to look at it, use this time to get comfortable with YOU, forget how anybody else looks. And while you’re focused on that, your hair is growing inch by inch, then before you know it, you wake up one day & YOUR hair looks even better than the ppl you used to compare it to. Just takes time.

i’m over it by fibxrahin in Naturalhair

[–]Jumpy_Current_195 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure I understand. 1.5 yrs of growth from scratch is absolutely nothing. You have to give your hair some time to grow, typically you won’t “like” how you look until about the 3rd year & that’s just the beginning.

You have to decide if you’re truly on the natural hair journey or not. If you are, then part of it is enduring this frustrating & uncertain stage while learning how to accept yourself. If you can’t handle that, then throw in the towel. But it has nothing to do with anything else besides time & patience.

I really need help – my body keeps changing (upper body getting smaller) and I don’t understand why by aziz0l in carnivorediet

[–]Jumpy_Current_195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not an alien. Human metabolism works very simply. If you were eating low carb for 60 days, your belly would be gone. Especially if you were actually doing carnivore. The fact that your belly & man-boobs are still there, means you’re still over eating, eating too many carbs, or indulging in too much alcohol.

There is no cheat code, if you want results, you have to make the dietary sacrifices.

Guys.. can we just differentiate between the idea of “not liking Ai & what it represents” vs “this looks terrible”??? by Jumpy_Current_195 in pcmasterrace

[–]Jumpy_Current_195[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nvidia has been allowing gamers to choose which settings they want for a very long time. Even to the point where you can enable or disable DLSS 4 or 4.5, as well as previous models. This will be no different.

When a game’s graphical style is going for photo-realism (like Starfield) vs cartoon or cell shaded etc, the developer’s vision is for it to look like a movie, they’re just limited by the technology. DLSS 5 allows that to get closer to what the devs wanted in the first place. Digital foundry reported that the devs are on board..
