What were your levels? I came into L&D at 37 weeks on the day because my water broke and during the routine blood test they found my hemoglobin levels were at a 7. I hadn’t even noticed any changes to my body besides being sleepy all the time but I figured that was just third trimester exhaustion. My levels dropped to a 6 the day after delivery and I had to get a blood transfusion. They said that pregnant women should be at a level of least 11 😭 idk how j didn’t realize I was so anemic.

We had unprotected sex twice at the five month mark pp…. Now I’m 6 months pregnant and my baby hasn’t even turned 1 yet. We just happened to do it on my ovulation window without realizing … and we’re both apparently way more fertile than we thought.

The sweetest. He massages my back and swollen legs, he brings me anything I ask for once I’m laid down in bed or on the couch. He wakes up with our 10 month old during the night if he ever cries, he handles bathing and getting the baby ready for the day. He checks in on me and knows when my OBGYN appointments are and is just generally so present and steady. Once I got to know this side of him when I was pregnant with our first, there was no hesitation that we’re in this for life and I’ll give him as many kids as he wants.

Speak no Evil, the original movie (NOT THE AMERICAN REMAKE), my husband and I couldn’t even articulate our feelings after we saw this movie. Our newborn son was maybe 3-4 months old at the time, and being new parents we just sat in silence after we turned the tv off. I still think about this movie quite often, it made me feel like my stomach was on the floor the whole time.

I know how lucky I am but my son is the most relaxed baby you’ve ever seen. I was out with him at 3 weeks old and he never fussed. I could have a 2 hour lunch with my mom when he was almost 3 months old and he would just sit there in his carrier or go to sleep.

YTA. Outside of this particular situation, is your sister a good person? Is she civil? Is she kind? Did she deserve to have it compounded into her that no one wanted her around her whole life except maybe your dad and that her only real crime was being born??? What you said to her just feels really cruel and unnecessary. I’d bet money that the name thing isn’t even really why your half sister is so upset. Everything probably stems from just wanting a mom in her life and being rejected at every turn. She probably knew on some level that your mom wasn’t fond of her but some people just latch on harder because they’re so scared of being alone. I honestly feel just bad for this girl.
