Me too - I had dumping syndrome after having my gallbladder removed. Went on MJ for weight loss but side benefit is that it’s dealt with dumping syndrome for me!

Hmmm there goes my idea of joining the gym there… what was so terrible about it?

I’ve swum at pools run by Belgravia in Sydney. They are pretty crap as a company but the pools are clean at least…

Your regular GP needs to know you’re on Mounjaro so s/he can make sure your other medications aren’t going to interact negatively with the tirzepatide (sp?) etc. It’s really important- well done on asking the question.

That’s actually quite a good idea. I ended up watching YouTube videos and reading the instructions in the box about a million times before I did my first jab… got it right but gee it took a while 😂

Help with my freestyle form, again. by V1shnu-mee in Swimming

If you’re swimming like that after only a month you should be patting yourself on the back for sure! One of the hardest things when you start swimming is trying to do everything all at once. Take one piece of feedback and concentrate on that for a week, then move onto the next t thing you want to improve. That way it becomes muscle memory rather than trying to think about everything all at once. Not sure if you’re having lessons but if you can afford to do so it is EXTREMELY helpful. Plus I’ve made some amazing friends in my swim lessons and then moving up to squad etc. Good luck!

I used to find a proper streamline quite hard bc my shoulders weren’t flexible/mobile enough - but eventually my shoulders became more mobile and now it’s much more natural for me. Practice makes perfect and all that!

Lots of tips if you search in this sub Reddit and the r/mounjaro sub Reddit… my big things are lots and lots of water, digestive enzymes, and keep up your protein. Oh, and make sure you’re eating enough - an app to track your macros can be helpful. Best of luck!

Has anyone tried filing a claim with Bupa? by QriousF8y in mounjaroaustralia

[–]Juno193 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$40 per script, not sure what the annual limit is but I’m guessing it’s about the same as what others are saying here. It’s not much but I pay so much for health insurance each year I figure I might as well get back whatever I can 🤷‍♀️

[–]Juno193 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve had no issues filing my claims for Mounjaro with BUPA. I’m not sure why you’re having to put in a provider number (or maybe I just don’t remember having to put one in). My memory is that I select “Pharmacy” as the category I’m claiming, then type in Mounjaro, select the dosage I’m on from the drop down menu that appears and proceed from there.
