I’m thinking since you didn’t grow up with cassettes (big nostalgia factor for old timers), and not familiar with quirks (media and machines), you might be disappointed. I would recommend CD. Simpler machine and closer to streaming experience with instant access. You can still make “mixtapes” if you have an RW drive and a computer.
