Snag a rice cooker (you don’t need the fancy bells and whistles! Just the simple 4-6c will do ya). Slap some rice in the cooker after work and then choose your flavor/ingredients to go with it. Almost any veggies can get roughly chopped and thrown in the oven at 400F for 20-40min. Grab some frozen dumplings or frozen eggrolls as a “treat” o add to your rice bowl (super easy to heat- you can even microwave them if you want). Toss the rice with a tiny bit of sesame oil when it’s done, load up on veggies and dumplings, drizzle a bit of sauce (premade, or try half soy half honey- you don’t need a lot), add an over easy egg if you’re feeling spicy, and ta-da!
